Coneflowers Take 2

Hello friends, I managed to convert another colored pieces to a card. These coneflowers are the same digital stamp from Power Poppy, actually when I printed the image was bit off the edge and a tiny part of the flower is missing, but I didn't feel like trashing the image away.

This was once colored with Prismacolor pencils, Yes I was hooked to these since March and used only color pencils since then.

I trimmed the colored image front and did ink blending with a mix of colors, you can see the colors I have used in the picture below.
The advantage of these color pencils is that you can do ink blending and the image color remains unaffected due to the wax! so no masking is need to protect the images.
I used bubble stencil yet again, and the sentiment is from CAS-ual fridays. I added purple glitter strips on both sides to the front panel, a few jewels to finish off.

Big and Bold Dahlia

Hello friends, it seems like I might come out of my creative slump 😅 since I am posting 2nd day in a streak.
I have used another of my colored images to convert to a card.
This is also a digital stamp from Power Poppy, and I have used Prismacolor pencils to color it, this flower had taken me a very long to color, have a look at the process picture below, I had added layer and layers of color here, one of the lengthiest colorings i have done.

I had fussy cut it all, but the bottom most petal tip is still connected to the sentiment base.
I created a background using some dark shades of inks, you can see the inks I have used in the picture below. I also used a bubble stencil to create a faded bokeh effect.
I did add a gold glitter strip tot he sentiment before adding it with the foam adhesive, a few jewels around the sentiment to finish it off.

There wouldn't be a flower I wouldn't wish to grow in my garden, if I have one. I love flowers by all means.

Pencil colored Coneflowers

Hello friends, today I am with a simple card.
This coloring was done way back in April for #thedailymarkerchallenge.
The coneflowers are digital stamps from Power Poppy, I had used Prismacolor pencils to color....I have so many colored florals which need to be converted to cards, but my lack of Mojo is taking it much longer than I thought it would to make these cards.

I fussy cut the flowers and added to the base card. I have done ink blending on the base card using various inks, and also added a stencil from ARTploration to create the bokeh background. Finally added the flowers with foam adhesive, the sentiment is from Uniko, a few jewels to finish of this card.
I am liking how the card has come out, hope you do too!

For sure one flower I am smitten by in the recent times is coneflower and wish to grow, only if I have a garden.

Watercoloring on Kraft

Hello friends, its been a long time again since I posted here on my blog. Too much happening and my mind just refuses to sit down to craft.
Anyways, I was able sit and color yesterday, I wanted to experiment with watercoloring on the kraft, and I kind of like it.
I used the liquid watercolors from CrafTangles and so is the kraft paper. I have used the Enchanted Iris set from Altenew here.
I put together the card now to my surprise I was able to sit through it!
I have used kraft base here and added the fussy cut floral to it using foam adhesive, the sentiment is stamped and edged with a gold strip.
For the background I have used the sunburst stencil in bronze.
A few jewels to finish off and thats it.

Uniko Challenge May/June - Reminder post

Hello friends, time for a reminder post to join the Uniko Challenge.
Its an easy challenge to join.

I was inspired by the challenge graphic and chose the Daffodilto make my simple card.

The flower was colored with Prismacolor pencils, and then fussy cut and added using foam adhesive tot he base card. I have decided to stamp sentiment, which goes well with the big floral.

I did add some wink of stella on the flower, here it is!

Uniko Brand Ambassador Post - florals your way!

Hello friends, I am up with a few floral cars using Uniko goodies today.
I had colored these using the Prisamcolor pencils.

These were stamped in the Lawn Fawn Grey ink and the coloring was done using the pencils.
I stamped a bold thank you sentiment here.
I dabbed the base with pine needle DI to create some interest and added a white strip over that.

-------------------

This was stamped using the grey ink from Lawn fawn and the color pencils color very well over the grey, I managed to achieve the no line coloring look here. The colored front is added to a white base and a few jewels to finish off the card.
I did add a white strip at the bottom to create some interest on this card.

Eid Mubarak

Hello friends, it's been a very long time since I was active on my blog.
A whole is happening at home-front, which requires my attention, so card making and blogging has taken a back seat for me.
That being said, I had been coloring and I had managed to keep my Instagram running with those colorings.
I sat down to use a few of my coloring to make some quick cards.
Since Eid being celebrated over peak summer, and with the beautiful flowers blooming at their best all around the world, I thought of making floral Eid greeting cards.

These flowers are from CrafTanglers, and all are colored using Prismacolor pencils, and the Eid sentiments are from CrafTanglers as well.

Adding this to Time Out Challenge
Art for me nowadays is coloring, I am not sure if my card qualifies with your definition, but adding it. If it doesn't please feel free to delete my entry ;)
