Uniko Jan/Feb Challenge Reminder

Hello friends, I am up with the challenge reminder for Uniko.
Have you joined us already? If not, do join us with this easy peasy theme.

I have a simple card today.
I used the Pure floral roses which I had colored way back in November. I had watercolored these flowers, I fussy cut these to add with foam adhesive to the card.
I dry embossed the base card with doodle flower stencil to give some dimension.
After arranging the flowers, I stamped the simple sentiment on top to finish off.

Water colored Rose buds

Hey all, I am up with a simple card... I used the Rose buds from Uniko, and waterccolored  these with markers.
I did some masking here to overlap the images. Also some splattering with brown ink after done with coloring.

To finish the card, I simply stamped the sentiment  that's all.

Watercoloring on regular thin paper

Hello friends, I have another card using the freebie from STAMPlorations.
Actually my printer was acting up and I got one printed on a regular thin paper, I couldn't trash it,  So I experimented it watercolors, as you can see the colors have bleed around a bit, not as bad I was expecting to though.I used Zig markers to water color this time.

Happy Republic day - Craftangles DT inspiration

Hello friends, I am up with a card for the Indian republic Day using CrafTangles products.

I made a card based on the Indian flag colors today. I do have a short timelapse video of the process.The process is simple with spraying the paper and then stamping, so the inks just flows around, run the heat tool and then stamp it again and add color again, repeat the process till you are satisfied with the look. There is no right or wrong here, its all upto you how you want to do it. So have fun with the inks!

Hello friends, happy Thursday.
Sharing a card which I made using the free digi from STAMPlorations. Its been a really long time that I used a digital stamp, but one was calling out loud to me, and YES as you might have guessed its the flower addiction I have nowadays.

I had water colored the image with mars graphic markers from Staedtler , and added to a white base, I left it as it is, didn't feel like adding anything else. to it.

Hand drawn magnolias

Hello friends, hope everyone is doing great!

My postings have definitely  become very sporadic. I know the days I am posting the Dt inspirations, but the rest is all upto my mood and if there are any projects on my hand.

I drew these Magnolias a few days back, and though the card is finished for a while now, I felt like posting it only now.

This is how it looks after drawing and water coloring.

I once again wanted to play with the Background, so I first added glossy accent to the flowers to seal off the color...and just added some blue ink to mimic the blue skies against the floral branch.  I splattered some water to lift the ink from a few spots.

I used a pattern base card, and added my front panel and a blue glitter strip and the sentiment is from Uniko.

Love at first sight

Happy Monday everyone!

Sharing a simple card which I made a few days back.
It looks like a one layer, but the front panel is added to the base.

I started with stamping the sheep, and then masked the panel as well as the sheep and did the sponging,stamping and splatters to create the bokeh BG.
I then used a mandala  stencil from  CrafTangles to dry emboss the white space.
Stamped the sentiment and added a sticker heart to finish off.

Uniko January Blog hop

Hello friends, this is a non release month at Uniko, and as usual we are having a blog hop with a previous;y released product.
This time the DT members are choosing their favorite product from the 2018 releases, so you will see different products showcased along the hop.
 My favorite has to be the Pure floral Peony, you all might already know that I am bit biased towards florals, so this is not a surprise to me.

I have 2 cards using this set.
The first one I stamped in versafine Onyx black ink and used alcohol markers to color.
The sentiment is stamped in green and also from the same set.
Nothing is added, as it looks good as it is to my eyes.

I heat embossed the stamp with WOW gold pearl embossing powder, and used alcohol markers to color.
I had fussy cut the flowers partially from the top and leaving the bottom intact. I used foam adhesive to add the panel to the white base.
The sentiment is stamped in 2 different inks.

Snowflake - stamped, embossed, diecut

Hey all, I am up with a simple card.
I was inspired by a couple of challenges for this one.

I stamped the snowflakes in pastel shades using versafine pigment inks. I used Uniko's snowflake stencil to dry emboss the panel. Then I die cut the snowflake and the inlaid die cut with the silver snowflake from Sizzix. The sentiments are from Uniko. That's all, pretty clean despite the embossed Bg.

Uniko DT inspiration - Peony love

I am up on Uniko with my inspiration using the recently released Pure Floral - Peony.
I got these stamps much later than the release, so thought of sharing it with more inspiration for you guys.
I am hooked with coloring for past 2 years, and I am still very much enjoying it, its pretty therapeutic.

Today I have 2 cards, One with plain colored image and white BG and the other with colored image and a colored BG.

The first one is stamped and water colored using the distress inks.
I have let the image be the star here, didn't feel like adding anything else here. I had stamped the sentiment on the image.

If you follow my instagram @rahmat.ccc, you would have seen how I am experimenting with backgrounds nowadays. So I did one for the peony as well.
I stamped the image in Versafine ink and used a pink alcohol marker to color it, adding some shading as well.
Then I masked the image and did some inking and stenciling, followed by white pigment ink stamping for the Bokeh effect. After going back and forth I decided to add the sentiment onto the image, and I like how it looks. I added the front panel with foam adhesive.
