Guest Designer for TIME OUT Challenge

Hello friends, today I am delighted to be guest designing with TIMEOUT Challenge.

Thank you for having me over at your blog 😊

They have a beautiful inspiration to get inspired.

I was inspired by the Succulents, woodgrain as well as the mandala pattern from the picture, so I have incorporated all the elements on my card.

Altenew is the sponsor for the challenge and I used Altenew products on my card.

I have used the Enchanted Iris set and used the Iris leaves to stretch my stamps to create the succulent.

I stamped in green and used Prismacolor pencils to color the leaves and then fussy cut assembled to create the succulent. The pot is also created using the swiping technique on cardstock using the inkpad.

I used foam adhesive to add this to the front.

I used Uniko marvelous Mehndi Mandala in Versafine watermark ink to create a faded tone on tone background. I wanted the Mandala there, but not in a dominating way.

Then I used another distress ink to create the woodgrain using the same swiping technique I used for the pot.

The sentiment is from the same set from Altenew.

Do stop by TIMEOUT blog to check out the wonderful inspiration by their DT members

Purple Roses

Hello friends, hope your week has started on a good note.

I am up with another of my digital stamp coloring today. I have used the Rose once again.

I do have a video for the coloring, though it was recorded in the night for my reference , the coloring looks ok despite the night light shadows, so I have uploaded. If interested watch here.

I had simply fussy cut the image and added to a textured base. I prepped the base with distress oxides to create a frame by light inking, and added the images in 2 corners. the sentiment is from Uniko

Watercolored Sunflower

Hello friends, I am sharing a sunflower card. If you happen to follow me on instagram, you might have seen the video I posted of this experiment.

I illustrated this sunflower and used Altenew watercolor brush markers to color it.

I added some details with the Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut the sunflower later.

I used all Altenew products on this card today.
I used the washi tape and added it in 2 different stripes. The flower is added with foam adhesive, and the sentiment is with plain adhesive, no dimension.

Swipe and Stamp - Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration

Hello friends, I am up on Uniko with my inspiration today.

I have a simple one layer card with a fun technique.

Do watch the video for this quick card.

I have used 3 different sets from Uniko for this card, it's a very simple technique where you just swipe the ink pad on the stamp and stamp it. I haven't used Misti her, I have used a ruler to stamp, but yes you can use any stamping tool for this technique.

Watercolored Carnation flowers

Hello friends, another floral card today. I hope no one is getting tired of my flower cards🙈

I have sued the Paint A flower Carnation set from Altenew again, but with their watercolor brushes.

I do have a short video of the process here.

The lighting is bit off for today as we have typhoon 8 and its pretty dark and rainy since morning.

This card has layers of watercoloring and stamping. I have used pencils for adding some details only to the leaves. I did add a lot of splattering as well, if you see the video, you can see that I have let the colors bleed out of the flower outlines to make it look artsy.
The sentiment is stamped on the watercolored flowers itself.
All products on this card are from Altenew.

Blue Hibiscus flowers

Hello friends, I am up with another hibiscus flower card today, using my digi. You can download this digi here if interested. If you use it on a project, kindly add #designsbyrahmat , so that I can find you and see your work.

I do have a video for this coloring and card, watch here if you want to.

I had layered the flowers in different sizes, and colored using Zigs for the initial watercolor layer and then Prismacolor pencils. Once the coloring was done, I simply added the panel to a card base.
I added the stamped sentiment from Altenew and the die cut from Avery Elle to finish off the card.
As you can see no other techniques other than coloring is done here.
