Snowdrops with bubbles - Uniko DT inspiration

Hello friends, I am up with a simple watercolored card using the spring botanicals from Uniko. I have used the Snowdrop set here.

The flowers are watercolored using the Zigs and used pencils fro details.

I have used a distress oxide for the backdrop.

The sentiment is from stash.

Pencil colored Coneflowers

Hello friends, today I am with a simple card.
This coloring was done way back in April for #thedailymarkerchallenge.
The coneflowers are digital stamps from Power Poppy, I had used Prismacolor pencils to color....I have so many colored florals which need to be converted to cards, but my lack of Mojo is taking it much longer than I thought it would to make these cards.

I fussy cut the flowers and added to the base card. I have done ink blending on the base card using various inks, and also added a stencil from ARTploration to create the bokeh background. Finally added the flowers with foam adhesive, the sentiment is from Uniko, a few jewels to finish of this card.
I am liking how the card has come out, hope you do too!

For sure one flower I am smitten by in the recent times is coneflower and wish to grow, only if I have a garden.

A basket full of flowers

Hello everyone, a very gloomy day here in my part of the world, its has been almost three weeks since, we last saw some sun. I am in desperate need of some much needed sunshine and bright day. I was telling my hubby that the government should put up an artificial sun to at least fake the feeling of sun..LOL, I need SUN.

Anyway, regardless of the weather, I am doing my best to cheer myself up, so made a flowery cheerful card. I used a white base, and I had weaved a paper basket using some kraft card stock. It's been a while since I did weaving for my cards. I did the handle to with the same card stock. and the flowers and leaves are stamped and fussy cut, and added using a foam adhesive. These  are from Mama Elephant - water blooms, and so is the sentiment too. Its a pretty simple card, nothing much going on it. I love it though, my daughter loved it, and said, "Mama, you could use eggs instead of flowers in the basket, to make an easter card". Well, will see ;) Hope you like this simple card.
Oops, forgot to mention that, I also added some paper swirls, I don't know why but I felt a compulsion to add those, and rhine stones to the flower centers.

Oh yes, weaving makes me absolutely happy, so joining in here.

 This makes me happy!

The Mixed Media Card Challenge
Its a simple card, I have used weaving and stamping to create this card, I hope it qualifies here.

Handmade flower stencil

I don't own any flower stamps yet, might get it one day. I am reasonably ok at drawing flowers and leaves (studying botany did come handy here ;) ). So I drew few flowers, I wasn't thinking of any particular flower, just a freehand. Cut out, saved the flower for later to do maskings, and used the stencil.
I had a super busy day at school, and when I sat down in the night to do the ink blending, it was incredibly relaxing! Used 3 different shades of yellow to ink the flowers. Black ink for the center,  and added some transparent glitter glue to give more dimension to the flowers. With a light hand, I went on to ink the white patches in between the flowers.
Was going to stamp a sentiment, but my darling daughter was working besides me on her homework,  and suggested not to stamp anything unless I want to spoil the beauty - really?? You can see I took her advice. (I trust her artistic intuitions,  she is much more better than me).

Star burst card

Made this Star burst card after a long time. I chose a white card stock, and the pattern paper is from the spring collection.
The bloom, I had cut it from another pattern paper, I like this flower's newsprint look.
Couple of leaves, and I had up cycled the twine, it came in a package material. It looked too useful to throw away. It is palm fiber.
Added the sentiment, on the designer paper, and continued along the star burst pattern. It is a card for a friend.
A floral button and two hearts as embellishments to wind up the card.

A closer look at the bloom, and the palm fiber twine.

The sentiments on the star burst panels.

Posting this card with the

CASE Study, I like the flower and the sentiments attached with the flower, and all the different shapes in the inspiration card. I added the flower, but added the sentiments on the star burst panel. Added 2 hearts to give the different shapes look in my card. this is my take on the inspiration picture.

I love the flower, and the color orange in here, and of course the twine. These were my inspiration from the above card. So my card is mostly orange, with a flower and of course the twine.

CASE Study just one more casing of one of my favorite artist in the card making world. I am casing
Dawn Olchefske, she is an amazing card maker, I love all her works.
I made the star burst card with her inspiration, but a different look.

Fantasy garden ~ straw blow painting

My first time doing a straw blow painting, chose trees to experiment since I thought trees are pretty easy, my thoughts before I got started. Of course, trees weren't that easy as I was thinking they would be.
Call me crazy but yes I chose blue and orange to do my trees. These are trees from a fantasy world, like Alice in Wonderland ;)

Used my daughter's Chinese painting  colors for this project

The process of blowing the straw, I surely have a long way to go!

Posting this to the Just Us Girls Challenge
Muse : Challenge #64, I really likes the colors in the inspiration card, but have done trees instead of the flowers.
