One layer Wedding card

Hello all, I am sharing a simple one layer wedding card. I did add two glittered hearts, using my double sided tape technique. The flowers and sentiment are from Mama Elephant - water blooms. I used stamping up - blushing bride to stamp the flowers.

2 one layer cards

Hello all, a quick share, before I head out for lunch with my girlfriends. A friend of ours is moving so a goodbye lunch.
I made a card yesterday evening, as I was not able to go to my son's football game, and I really regret it. Their team won 9-0, and my son scored 2 goals, I should have witnessed it with my eyes.
Another card is made just now, both are pretty simple one layer cards.

The first one up is a geometric shapes pattern card, I had used the circles stamp from Uniko Studio, where I am guest designing for their current geometric challenge. I had used the Wplus9 Umbrella and sentiment and the hearts for the remaining part.

I was inspired by this card, the layout is beautiful.

The second card is made using my favorite quote, so the sentiment is computer generated, I stamped the hearts from Paper Smooches - sweet hearts. I made few cards using the same quote earlier as well, but they are always different in execution wise. I decided to leave out the heart word, and stamped the heart withing the heart.
I hope people can still read the quote.

Soft flowers

Hello everyone, I am posting after a few days, was subbing yesterday so no time to craft. Today there is plenty of time now in the morning, but the mojo seems to be missing. Will be busy watching my son's soccer match in the evening, so really wanted to make a card, I looked up some challenges to entice me ..lol...yes but some challenges do tickle me up to play.
Tracey's card at Muse was calling out to me, so gave a try at that.

I chose the flower from Hero Arts - things we love set. Stamped it in blushing bride, and pear pizzazz, and used color pencils gently to fill in, leaving out bit of white. The sentiment is from Uniko Studio, I had heat embossed it in gold. Finished off with some rhine stones.

Uniko Studio Reminder - guest designing

Hello all, as you know that I am guest designing with Uniko Studio's current geometric challenge, this is a reminder post, if you haven't joined us yet, do join us with your geometric makes, it is a fun challenge with some prizes as well, The DT's are all awesome, so do visit the blog for more inspiration.
For my card, I used the stamps from Uniko. I sprayed some distress ink spray - fired brick, and then stamped a black circle on it, and another in red, a super simple one layer card. I thought of stamping a Christmas sentiment, but these in my head were more fir for birthday lanterns or decorations, so stamped a birthday sentiment.

Roses, and maple leaf

Hi friends, its Friday here, and few more hours for the weekend to officially kick in. I made this card yesterday evening, was not in a good shape, so pulled myself out to my craft room, to do something creative, I am glad I did that.
I used a white base, started by adding the netted ribbon, it is up-cycled, I received some flowers tied with these, it looked too useful and pretty to trash.
I stamped a rose on the base, and the other one is fuzzy cut and added, I also sponged the maple leaf, using my handmade stencil, and added it also using a foam adhesive, the sentiment is from Uniko Studio. I finished off with some sequins and rhine stones.

Hi friends, I am sharing a card which was made few days back, and I forgot to share it.
It is a simple one layer card, I did some scoring on this, and added spritz using distress ink- forest moss spray. I added these sparkly blooms from my stash, and the sentiment is from Hero Art- things we love. A pretty simple card.
A closer look at the sparkle.

A peeking Zombie

Hi all, sharing a quick card. The idea came in a flash, so sat down to execute it right away, despite being that it is a holiday today here.

It is a pretty simple card, I used all white base and front, I tear the front panel paper to get that texture, sponged some crushed olive distressed ink and also some red ink to create a zombie background. I added two big wiggly eyes popping out. The sentiment is from Mama Elephant - Water Blooms.

Happy birthday Son

Hello all, a very special day for us today. It is my son's birthday today, he is 15 today. I find myself dwelling in his baby days today, can't believe he is growing up to be a fine young man already....nostalgia strikes from time to time ;)

I made a card for him 2 days back, he plays football for the Macau National team and also for his school team. I can brag that he is one excellent player, he plays center forward, on that note, he will be playing the first game of the season tomorrow evening, I am preparing to lose my voice ..lol ;) can't help it ;)
I made him a football shaped card,
I used a hexagon stencil to draw out, and then I colored the black hexagons, the birthday sentiment is from Uniko Studio, and for his name, I used Hero Arts - Sketched letters.

The card looks like a small version football in real, I am sure he liked it, I gave him this morning, but haven't heard anything since mornings are crazy busy with getting ready for school.

I am Guest designing at Uniko Studio, will add this card, as it fits well with the challenge them - geometric shapes...do join us with your creations there.

---------------------------------------------------

I made another card this morning, It is a simple one layer card, with some paper piecing.
I chose a stamp which I brought from my local stationary store here last week.
I stamped it on different pattern paper and fuzzy cut to paper piece on the stamped image on the card base. I did some masking and sponged some distressed inks to create a mini scene as well.
The tree is from Paper Smooches - gently seasoned, and so is the stamped sentiment in the speech bubble. I also stamped a tiny bird in yellow from the same set. I left it just plain white, briinging the focus to the image, hope you all like it.

Orange and Black

Hello all, this is gonna be my third post today....I made this card this morning. It is a mixed media card, I am not very good at mixed media, but I do give it a go from time to time. I used a shaded orange base, and a black textured card stock as frame, a water color front panel - I started painting some Tim Holtz crackle paint on the water color paper, and I sponge some distressed inks - spiced marmalade, and carved pumpkin on the card, I wiped the painted surface off the ink, then used Heidi Swapp's mixed media stamp to stamp the script look. Late I stamped some flowers from Hero Arts - things to treasure around the painted spot, and used one more flower from the same set as my focal point, I fuzzy cut this and added with a foam adhesive, the sentiment is also from the same set. I decided to tilt the front panel a bit, I don't know why ;)

Another quick share, I chose a red textured base and added a gold panel, and did some stamping and water coloring using the Altnew stamps - lacy curls in berry distressed ink.
Added a frame, and stamped the sentiment inside the frame.
