Canvas and a card

In this post I am sharing a mixed media canvas , and a card.

My card is for the Coffee lovers blog hop, I made a tall coffee mug using pattern paper, and stamped a coffee stamp, I don't know the brand, but it is a very old stamp set with some vintage stamps. I stamped the grunge first and then added the cup on top of that, the sentiment is from Mama elephant - water blooms.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Next is a canvas, I started of with some acrylic paints in dark and light blue, and brushed it all over.
Next used the ARTplorations stencil - bold blooms to ink the flowers , and the leaves are from Paper Smooches botanicals 3, so are the tiny flowers, I simply stamped these images.
I used Heidi swapp's mixed media script stamp, and stamped it in brown color.
The I stamped the sentiment from Wooden crafts , the big word "friend" is also from the same set. Added some glitter glue as well.

A few cards

Hello all sharing a couple of cards, made a few just didn't had time to share, so sharing today in few posts.
The first one up is made with a vellum like material, but not the same. This paper is my stash for many years, I just forgot about it, until my daughter was running her hand through my stash to look for materials for her school project.
I have 2 shades of this paper, in orange, blue, and grey...this paper is see through just like vellum, with an exception that it has color on it.
I started with a white base, and sponged some pink, yellow and green ink. I used Paper Smooches botanicals 3 to stamp the flowers and leaves. Once done the stamping, I added the vellum like paper on top, so the stamped images look kind of faded, but clearly visible. I stamped the sentiment from Wplus9 - embroidered bouquet, a twine, and a few rhine stones to finish off.

Lion King's quote

Hi everyone, posting after a few days today. I was at school today, got home and felt the need to unwind myself by making a card, and sponging gives me immense relaxation, so did that. I chose a quote from Lion King movie, it is a very nice quote, and I personally find it true, and it is great for card sentiments too.
I started of with printing the quote, and then masked a circle, and a lion ...bit tricky to hold the tiny lion in between my fingers to sponge withing the circle. I used yellow, orange and red to achieve my desired color here, I then colored the masked lion using a black marker to make it look like a silhouette. I used foam adhesive to lift up the front panel. A very simple card, hope you all like it.

I am going with just a single circle, to interpret the cue circles.

Happy Little Stampers
Sponged the circle, and colored the lion.

Sponged maple leaves

Hello all, weekend had kicked in here, and I had plenty of time today as hubby dear didn't come home for lunch, instead of crafting I ended watching Korean drama....yes I love watching Korean tv over my country's Indian tv ;)
I just made a card now, it was a sudden urge to sponge  a maple leaf, and I don't own any die- cut or stencil of maple leaf...so went around the house looking for a maple leaf picture, my darling daughter suggested I should print a leaf and cut and use....hehee ..she is smarter than me I guess. But luckily I found one, since kiddos go to Canadian school, found one around the house. I simple had to fuzzy cut it with scissors, and used the negative as stencil. I had used distress inks - vintage photo, crushed olives, fired brick, and forest moss to get the effect I wanted. I stamped the sentiment from STAMPlorations - trendy feathers.
I am very much satisfied with the card, it is a one layered card, other than sponging there is nothing much to brag about here.
Hope you all like it.

It is a one layer card, and used the MFT die cut, left over card stock as a stencil to sponge the leaves here, I had used DI - fired brick, crushed olives, vintage phot and forest moss to create the autumn look. The sentiment is from Avery Elle - handwritten notes. I absolutely love the colors and the leaves here, hope you all like it too.
