One layer CAS

Hello friends, a super CAS card today!

Actually I came across this quote and graphic a few weeks, and I saved it to convert to a card.

The sentiment is printed off , and I doodled the branch and caterpillar silhouette, an extra branch through the words and added a for some interest, one layer CAS shouldn't be boring right?

I used Uniko petals to stamp the butterfly and colored it.

Coneflowers Take 2

Hello friends, I managed to convert another colored pieces to a card. These coneflowers are the same digital stamp from Power Poppy, actually when I printed the image was bit off the edge and a tiny part of the flower is missing, but I didn't feel like trashing the image away.

This was once colored with Prismacolor pencils, Yes I was hooked to these since March and used only color pencils since then.

I trimmed the colored image front and did ink blending with a mix of colors, you can see the colors I have used in the picture below. 

The advantage of these color pencils is that you can do ink blending and the image color remains unaffected due to the wax! so no masking is need to protect the images.

I used bubble stencil yet again, and the sentiment is from CAS-ual fridays. I added purple glitter strips on both sides to the front panel, a few jewels to finish off.

Uniko Introducing... Happy Days and Background Blocks Pinstripe II

Its the final day of product introductions for the February release.

Another edition to the pinstripe stamp here, and also to the silhoutte leaves, if you recall the previous releases at Umiko.

MY pictures doesn't show but the base card has dry embossing using the wonky stripes stencil.

Lights up in less than 5 mins.

Hello friends, I am posting after a long time.
I was away for the Spring break to Budapest and Doha, got back yesterday night. Its a jump start to routine, luckily no jet lag at all despite the time difference. Hubby and daughter are at work and school respectively. I too am back to my usual work since I stepped my foot in the home. It was a nice 10 days break from housework and crafting.

I was inspired by a few challenges to make this super quick card in less than 5 minutes, yes that's what it has taken me. Sorry for the bad pictures, the weather is cloudy.

It is a one layered card, I dry embossed the front using CrafTangles speckles stencil, and then stamped the lights from Uniko and colored using the fine tip pens, and stamped the sentiment. TADAA its done, as you can tell no techniques involved here.

January 2018 Uniko revisit DT Bloghop

Hello friends, this is a non release month and we are continuing with our revisiting the sets in the year 2017.

I chose the Pure Floral - lily for today, along with 2 stencils released in 2017.

I stamped and colored the lily and the leaves, and then did partial fussy cutting on the top and added the panel to the stenciled base.
Stamped the sentiment and a few jewels to finish off.

I stamped the flower in squeezed lemonade DI and used markers to color it, used the polka dots stencil in the Bg and the sentiment is from the snowdrop set, a few jewels to finish off the front. I colored the base card at the bottom and added the front to finish off.

Happy new year

Hello friends, wishing you all a happy, healthy, prosperous, and peaceful new year.

I am back after a few weeks. I just got home on the 1st January, yes we ringed the new year at the airport.

Seems like a busy start, though the craftrooom is overflowing with all the new craft goodies from Uniko and Craftangles, I am yet to get back to crafting with a proper schedule,

Though I found some time today for make a card, and a video, I am not sure if it will be like this. I am starting teaching again this year onwards, though not full time, and substitute teaching really has no schedule, I would have no idea which days I will take work and which days I stay home 😉

I want to improve my blogging for this year, and I do realy want to improve the commenting part, however I find that Instagram is really helpful, I find it much easier to like and comment there than logging in and commenting on blogs ;)

Anyways, I am up with a card using Uniko's new goodies - December release stamps, which I picked up from the post office just yesterday, and my hands were tickling since yesterday to get inky.

UNiko Challenge Reminder

Hey all, we are up with the reminder for the Uniko Challenge.

I made a CAS card for today. I used the re released snowflake die cut on a blue glitter card stock, and used the inlaid die cut technique here
The sentiment is the recently released Christmas sentiments set. I added the same blue glitter card stock strip at the base for interest to finish off.
