City Home

Happy Sunday friends,

I am up with a super simple card with minimal colors on it.

I was inspired a couple of challenges and as well as my view from home for this card.

I looked outside this morning and it was cloudy and overcast, we live on the 38th floor, so we can not only see very far but also into another country! The view is beautiful most of the time regardless of the weather, the same view I have different shots and all look so different yet stunning .

Those mountains are in China.

I have used Hickory smoke DI to depict the overcast grey skies using the stencil from Craftangles, a very gentle hand is used to sponge the clouds.
The skyscaper die cut is from Paper Smooches, I have lightly colored using Grey, and orange Prismacolor pencils.
That amazing sentiment from Technique Tuesday stamps. I added score lines to frame the sentiment.
I did add a few heart sequins, and one sequin on a top window to depict HOME.

Hoping I can call it CAS despite so much going on this quick make.

Tie -dye tissue transfer

Hello friends, of lately I have been doing doing tie and dye on tissues to create some patterns for my projects. This is a super easy technique to create gorgeous patterns. What is great is that since the tissues are 2 or 3 plied, so you end up with more than one pattern.MY tissue was 3 ply, so I have 3 more patterns left after using one for this project.

I have done tissue transfer using the cling wrap and iron box here. There are many ways to do this.

I used Altenew watercolor brush markers to do this

After the transfer, I used the bold alphabet die cuts in red below and white stacked on top, just so as the red is peeking a bit from the sides. Another sentiment is stamped on the tissue itself.

I added a single carnation going over one of the letters.

Fuchsias in dark

Hello friends, I am up with another card with black background . I seem to have been loving these black ones a lot.

Anyways, I am revisiting all my digital stamps one by one with black background, so today I am sharing Fuchsias.

I colored these only with the pencils.

Then did some sponging using the iced spruce distress oxide using a cloud stencil.

The sentiment is from Altenew.

TIME OUT challenge

I made a quick background for my colored fuchsias. The coloring was also quick ,it took me about 15 minutes when I compare to more than half a days I have spent on some colorings.

Yes but the stenciling of the clouds took me a minute or two max.

Washi Smile take 2

Hello everyone, I am up with another washi card. Actually this one is from the negative left over piece from yesterday's card.

I have used the same 2 washi to create this card. The smile panel is the negative of the yesterday’s  card. SO i used the same BG to create another card with a different look.

Washi Smile

Hello friends, I am up with something different today.

I have used Altenew washi here for this card, and tried focusing only on that here. As you can see I have used many other products from Altenew here for this card.

I have used the gold string washi to diecut the SMILE and I used another galaxy watercolor washi to create the BG for the card.
I used the flower from another Altenew set and did some sewing here.
The letters are added using foam adhesive. I added a thin sentiment strip on the word SMILE, and white strip at the base to finish off the card.
Hope you like it.
