One layer colored card base

Happy  Monday eeryone!
I am up with a simple one layer card. I sat down for crafting in a long time.

I used the orange card base from CrafTangles, and used the pretty posies set from CASual Friday stamps to stamp in black and used pink color pencils and markers to add color. I used pink, gold and blue metallic pens to add some shimmer to the images. The butterfly is a free stamp which came in the Craft Stamper magazine May issue.
The sentiment is also from CFS but floating set.
A few pink sequins to finish off.

Nothing like Mother's love

Hi friends, I am finally revealing the card which was published in the May issue! It is yet to see the light on my blog and on Social media!

I have used the Uniko roses and stamped in Altenew inks and water colored using Staedtler's  marsgraphic markers, and fussy cut to arrange on th front.
I used old paper DI and stenciled the broken line from Uniko and stamped the sentiment from Altenew Wild hibiscus set.
Added a glitter strip and a few jewels to finish off.

Alcohol ink butterflies

Happy Wednesday friends, hope the week is going great for you all.

I a um p with a simple card. A few days back, I tested out the alcohol inks. The panel was sitting there in my stash to be used.
I simply die cut out a few butterflies and did the same on the front panel, with one on the edge. I sponged the sky with a liht hand in shades of blue using CrafTangles nature stencil.
The sentiment is from CASual Friday and stamped in 2 parts one on the top and one at the bottom.
Finally added the butterflies using the foam adhesive.

I am loving how rich in color the alcohol inks are, and the butterflies look awesome!

Wardrobe inspired - #1

Hey everyone, from time to time I will be looking inside my wardrobe for inspirations, and whenever I do that I will add the card. I am starting a separate series for that.

For my first card, I just chose what I was wearing the other day, any guesses what it might be???
Well these are my PJ's 🙈 I bought these in India, and I have to agree that there is more color to the Indian section in my wardrobe than the western one, which are usually grey, black, blue and white.

I was thinking of the wardrobe inspiration those days, and then I got inspired by the Marimekko's and the colors here. I never paid attention before that these were Marimekkos!
Really, I have had these for at least 6 years! That's much before I started serious cardmaking or blogging!

Ok, so no surprise that I chose the Marimekko stamps from Uniko style here.
I used lawn Fawn grey ink, and a green ink for the flowers. Then I used the marble stencil from CrafTangles to ink up in black, purple and green, in random.
I added the sentiment on a panel and a part in purple to go with the whole design here.

I hope you like what I have come up with.

watercoloring using zigs

Happy Monday everyone!
I am sharing a card which was made a few weeks back and is waiting patiently to be shared!
I used the freebie from Kit and Clowder. I used the zigs to water color these.

Added to a orange base  a few blings, and a string to finish off the card.

CASology Guest Designer

Hello friends, I am guesting with CASology today.

This is the Cue for the week

The cue seems to  have come to me on a right time, the parent in me is very active and involved as my first born is getting ready to leave the nest, and venture into university life in the coming months.
He has got many acceptances, and he finally made his decision a few days back.
The card I made today is with very much like my soon to be situation .

I printed the outlined house off a free printable, and stamped the sentiment in grey ink, from Technique Tuesday - home set. I doodles the mom and dad inside the house, added a few jewels to finish off the front, and added it to a grey base.
