Guest Designer for TIME OUT Challenge

Hello friends, today I am delighted to be guest designing with TIMEOUT Challenge.

Thank you for having me over at your blog 😊

They have a beautiful inspiration to get inspired.

I was inspired by the Succulents, woodgrain as well as the mandala pattern from the picture, so I have incorporated all the elements on my card.

Altenew is the sponsor for the challenge and I used Altenew products on my card.

I have used the Enchanted Iris set and used the Iris leaves to stretch my stamps to create the succulent.

I stamped in green and used Prismacolor pencils to color the leaves and then fussy cut assembled to create the succulent. The pot is also created using the swiping technique on cardstock using the inkpad.

I used foam adhesive to add this to the front.

I used Uniko marvelous Mehndi Mandala in Versafine watermark ink to create a faded tone on tone background. I wanted the Mandala there, but not in a dominating way.

Then I used another distress ink to create the woodgrain using the same swiping technique I used for the pot.

The sentiment is from the same set from Altenew.

Do stop by TIMEOUT blog to check out the wonderful inspiration by their DT members

Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate your kind feedback. Have a great day!

  1. This is one stunning card and just a wonderfully creative way to stretch your stamps. I love the way you coloured the leaves and the subtle changing colours. And such a good idea to use the woodgrain to ground the image. It is such a joy to have you as our GD x

  2. This is really good! I love how you've made a wooden table and a pot just by swiping ink in! And that mandala in the back.. I could just barely make it out in the image.. now that's adding subtlety!! Great card, Rahmat!

  3. Congratulations, Rahmat! Your card is fantastic!

  4. Your card is a fabulous take on the inspiration, Rahmat. I love that you created the succulent with iris leaves - and I love the subtlety of the tone tone mandala. I always enjoy your art so much, and it is wonderful to have you here at Time Out designing with us.

  5. This is such a gorgeous card, and such a wonderful take on the inspiration photo. Thanks so much for being our Guest Designer at Time Out.

  6. I am in awe of your creative mind! Love the way you used the Iris leaves for the succulent. Great take on the photo inspiration too! So glad to have you amongst us, thank you for being Guest at Time out!
