White and lavender flowers

Sharing a card which I just finished making.
I chose a textured white base card, and a plain white for the front panel. First I die cut few circles, then embossed the top part above the circles.
Added ink to the base card, and adhered the front panel. I die cut some flowers, lightly inked, and then added translucent glitter glue for sparkle.I also added some punched daisies. Used rhinestones for flower center.
Finally stamped the sentiment from STAMPlorations - trendy feathers.
I forgot to mention that I also added some hand cut paper swirls.
It took me a while to put together this card, but I am happy how it turned out.

I had just turned the sketch sideways.

I chose to go with only the picture, I was inspired by the flowers and the colors in the picture.

Sun and stars

Sharing another post for the day, I made this card yesterday. I chose my favorite words to work with, I personally think the words go very well this inspiration picture.
I masked a circle and inked the sun rays, and stamped tiny stars across, also added a few star sequins to finish it up. I had added foam adhesive to the front panel, to give more dimension.
Hope you all like this simple card.

Celebrate moments in life

Hello blogger friends, I am sharing a vintage styled card today.
Straight to the card - I chose a my favorite white base, and started with masking the card and stamped the sentiment to the edge, this is from Paper Smooches.
After that, I added a distressed vintage panel and stamped the STAMPlorations sentiment in the background, and added three chipboard strips in different widths, and finally another vintage sentiment to finish off, also a few sequins.

Muse #88

Hello everyone, this is again my second post of the day, to go to my ATSM DT post please click here.

I made a card inspired by the Muse Challenge, I am playing here after a long time. But this card by Vicki was just so tempting to play!

For my card I chose the exact opposite of Vicki's color for the base card, and even the glitter color is very different, but I had followed the layout of this beautiful card. I wish I had some vellum to imitate the look of the sentiment panel. Since I don't have any, I added a purple glittery tape and then added my sentiment panel. Its a pretty simple card, but is definitely inspire by the muse card, hope you can see how was inspired! I love the colors on this card, and yes satisfied with the finished look.

ATSM #116

Hello everyone, welcome to another challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More, today the challenge is "Anything goes".
We have  an awesome sponsor "Rick St. Dennis" for the challenge, who is giving away 3 free digis to the winner.

For my card, I had used the sponsor's image, and colored it using very minimal colors, kept the card stock colors all white, I had a compulsion of adding a silvery snowflake sequin.
A simple card.

Hop on to the ATSM blog now, and see what inspiration is in from our talented DT.

Super CAS card

My second post of the day, the holiday has definitely boosted my crafting ......I was experimenting with fonts on my computer to incorporate into my cards. As there are times when I use technology more on my cards over the stamps.
This is another way to try to work with what I  have than looking for excuses and give up....in my case the excuses are pretty easy that I always fall short on essential supplies, since buying card making supplies is a big challenge, mostly nobody ships here :(, and I have a limited choices and I always have to stretch my thinking at times to make a card! and I love the challenge.

Ok now to the card, I had used a font to create the splatters, and decided to give a colorful feel to it, and rainbows are a great way to add color, so did that, added the sentiment in the middle. I was tempted to add few sequins, but decided not to add any, I think the card looks perfect to me, anything else added, will take away the serene look of the card. So here is my one layer Super CAS card. I am very satisfied with it. Hope you guys like it too.

World card making day

Hello everyone, I am blogging after a very long time. I am still holidaying in Bali, and away from card making for more than a week already. Just came to know that, it is world card making day, I do have a card which I made few days back, and thought of sharing it, just for  the day. Not linking it to any challenges, since I don't know what challenges are running currently ;).. I am sitting at  the beach and writing this post.

I am linking it bit late to when my post was published, as I was away from the card making and blogging world, and found out today that this card fits this challenge, as I have used the fall colors and it is a one layered card without any embellishments or anything. I hope it is ok to add a bit later!

I am giving a peek at what I am enjoying here,
the beautiful sunsets of Bali.

Some snacks I have been munching on lately, while watching the sunsets.

Kuta Beach, where my kiddos are surfing.

view from our hotel lobby.

That's all for me, will be back home in a day or two, and to my craft supply soon, hopefully with refreshed mojo, and some different cards ;)

Vintage and a fall card

I am back from my holiday in Bali, it was a long break to be lazy and away from crafting, hoping I have returned with a refreshed mojo towards card making ;)

I made 2 cards, the first one up is a fall themed card, and it is also inspired by the colors which I was constantly seeing during my holiday!

My Inspiration picture for this card - This was my spot at the beach in Bali.

For this card, I did a freehand cutting of the tree, off to the edge. Once the tree was cut and I was satisfied with it, I inked the fall colors onto my one layered white cad base.
And then I adhered the cutout tree on the inked base. Added few maple leaves, and stamped the sentiment from STAMPlorations - trendy feathers.

I like how the card has turned out with plenty of white space as well as some vibrant colors too.

My card is based on Autumn colors.
Autumn's Bounty

I know this time this challenge will be flooded with cards, knowing that my card might be lost in the card flood from all the talented crafters all around, I am still giving it a go ;) CAS is my favorite after all.

-------------------------------------------------

The second card I made is with a vintage theme.
I chose a brown card stock to work, and a white base. I had added a kraft panel, dry embossed the panel with diagonal stripes, and then smudged it with some white gelato, and then added some chevrons in black ink.
Added some fabric and gingham tape too. A burlap leaf, I also used some feathers from STAMPlorations - Trendy feathers, and then stamped the sentiment from STAMPlorations too.
A vintage timepiece, and few stars to finish off the look.

I have added two different patterns, the first one is an embossed diagonal stripe pattern, and the second one is chevrons inking on the diagonal stripes.
