For my son!

I made this card for my darling son. 3 days back he injured himself during his football practice.
Luckily no fracture but he is recommended to not play any football for at least 3 weeks.
Ok that being said, he is a very active 13 year old, who is having a difficult time sitting quiet minus a football ;)
So I thought of making him a card with a good message, so that he can relax and bounce back with more strength.
Back to the card now, I have combined 2 challenges, color and sketch to make this card, also added some back stitches using the same colored embroidery threads.
The sentiment is computer generated since that is what I wanted on this card.
A very clean card.

A little laugh :
After I gave him this card, he said,"You could just say it to me, why to make a card?"
I answered,"So that you can keep it on your desk, and get reminded, I had already reminded you enough number of times". (And I need excuses to make cards ;))

Thinking to link it up with Virginia's View Challenge too as I had added some stitches on it.

Thank you for stopping by, have a great day!

  1. First of all, what an AWESOME MOM you are are, Rahmat! I am sure your son will remember this for years to come (even though he doesn't think of it much at this point--typical teenager!!). It's the little things like this that actually make things special in the adolescent years! And your design is absolutely SUPERB! I love how you accentuate the lines with stitching! Thanks so much for linking up to Virginia's View Challenge! Glad to see that you enjoyed this challenge!
