Glitter brights! - Calling All Sistahs Reminder - August

Hey all its the 17th of the month, and time for a reminder post for self check against breast cancer.

I am up with a simple card, all I have done is used the Glitter brights card stock from DCWV, and heat embossed the hope ribbon.
The sentiment is stamped and added on a black strip and used foam adhesive to add some dimension. A few black jewels to finish off, I just wanted the stamp to stand out against the glitter card stock, and it sure does.

One layer Orchids

Hey blogger peeps, I am up with a simple one layer card.
I used a new set from Altenew - Oriental Orchids, which has been sitting on my stash unused for many months.
Stamped the stalk in distress ink - crushed olives, and the olive in DI peacock feathers, and used the same ink to add color to the flowers, and stamped the center in the crushed olive ink.
I then sponged the bottom with the same olive distress ink and added the gold foil from CrafTangles.
Sentiment is from the same set, and a few jewels and a white floss at the top to finish off.

Just Black and White

Happy Saturday everyone!
I am with a quick share, I made this card 2 days back, and was just waiting a free day on my blog t share. As you might have noticed my blog postings have become sporadic.

I was inspired by CASology for this card.

I started with embossing the front panel, I used Sizzix Animals print folder for this. Then used Waffle Flower Monochrome stamp, used the Zebra and stamped in black, and fussy cut to add to the front, I stamped the sentiment on a strip and added next to the zebra, added googly eyes to the zebra. Finished off with a few black jewels, I am loving how clean this card looks, and the embossing provides a beautiful dimension without taking away the serene look!
I hope you agree with me ;)

Chrysanthemums

Hey all, hope everyone is doing great! Still summer holidays, and I am not much in the craftroom, crafting surely has taken a back seat nowadays. Hopefully once the school reopens, and the routine is set then I can put aside my usual crafting and blogging time.

Anyways I am up with a which was made many weeks back, and I just didn't had the time to post it!
I had used the same water colored BG which my daughter created, and was going to trash it!  You might have seen it last month on the butterfly shaker I made. It is a very big paper, I will be using many times in near future as required.
Ok, so I stamped the Chrysanthemums from Uniko in Altenew inks, and the leaves are stamped in SU wild wasabi and water colored with some green markers.
Is tamped the sentiment and heat embossed in gold and fussy cut to add, and stamped the small part under it.
I added the front to a green textured base.
A few splatters and rhine stones added to finish off.

Foils, stencil and stamps - CrafTangles DT post

Hey all I am up on CrafTangles today with an interesting trio of cards.

CrafTangles had released some stunning foils this month, and the sequins are from last month release. This is my generous DT kit I received a few days back.

For my non - Indian blogger peeps, I thought should let you know more about this card. This is an Indian festival for brothers and sisters.

I am giving the information from Wikipedia
The festival celebrates the love and duty between brothers and sisters. It is also popularly used to celebrate any brother-sister type of relationship between men and women who may or may not be biologically related. On Raksha Bandhan, a sister ties a rakhi (sacred thread) on her brother's wrist with a prayer for his prosperity and happiness. This symbolizes the sister's love. The brother gives her a token gift and a promise to protect her.
The stamp script is in Hindi, the Indian national language.

Uniko Challenge Reminder

Hey all I am up with a card for the reminder for the Uniko Challenge.

 

For this card i was inspired by the purple color from the picture.

I used the Gerbars set and stamped and water colored the flowers, and stamped the leaves using SU wild wasabi ink. Then die cut using the coordinating dies.

Arranged on the card, and added the sentiment from happy Succulents set.

Finished oof with a few jewels and a chipboard strip at the bottom.
