B&W Stripes

Happy Monday everyone!
I am up with a quick almost one layer card.

I wanted to keep it one layer, but couldn't.
I used Uniko's Stripe BG set and stamped it in Versafine using the repeated stamping technique.
The sentiment is from Waffle flowers. edged with a silver glitter strip.

Noting really tom brag about it, but I am loving the monochrome look. Do you think it is too much black??
Only thing bothered me a bit was a whole lot of ink was used, as I went in to stamp twice each time!

I think I might have gone overboard, but I love monochrome, and stripes are my all time favorites.

Just Black and White

Happy Saturday everyone!
I am with a quick share, I made this card 2 days back, and was just waiting a free day on my blog t share. As you might have noticed my blog postings have become sporadic.

I was inspired by CASology for this card.

I started with embossing the front panel, I used Sizzix Animals print folder for this. Then used Waffle Flower Monochrome stamp, used the Zebra and stamped in black, and fussy cut to add to the front, I stamped the sentiment on a strip and added next to the zebra, added googly eyes to the zebra. Finished off with a few black jewels, I am loving how clean this card looks, and the embossing provides a beautiful dimension without taking away the serene look!
I hope you agree with me ;)

Bee happy

Hey all. I have another post today. Well it just happened that  I was able to make a few cards, and since it is  still summer holidays, I have some time to post it.
You might have seen the glimpse of this card on the Instagram yesterday!

It is all white card with a pop of gold.
I used Heidi Swapp honey comb stencil and dry embossed it partially. The used Nuvo gold Mousse to add shimmer.
Then I used the Hppy word die from winnie&walter to diecut and added the word raised the word die using the inlaid technique.
The bees are doodles by me 🙈, YES that's the best I can do..lol.
I doodled on the vellum and colored using markers, added some wink of stella to the wings.
I used alphabits from concrod&9th to stamp Bee.
A chipboard to the edge and the front was added, a few jewels to finish off.

ATSM #110 ~ Monochromatic Starburst card

Today at Addicted to Stamps and More, we have a photo for you as a challenge!

You can choose whatever you want from the picture to do your project. I chose to go with monochromatic colors.
I had so many different ideas to use this picture, and when I finally sat down to execute, my brain or call it my instincts kept rejecting all the ideas, in fact I thought that I was stuck with this. BUT, hey Here it is my card - A monochromatic star burst card.
I chose a vanilla card base, the DP is from authentique, this is one of my favorite collections of DP, the paper has an aged/antique look to it, and I love it.
Once done with the star-burst pattern, I decided to add it to a black card stock, and the other  half is the back side of the white floral card.
Added a twine at the joint, it adds interest as well as hides the joint.
Couldn't resist adding that tiny vanilla butterfly, I personally think it goes well with the sentiment.

Now head over to the ATSM Challenge blog, and see what the other DT's have come up with to inspire you all.

We have a generous sponsor "QKR Stampede", who is offering 3 free digis to the winner!
