Floral wreath

Hello friends, its been a while.
Our schools have reopened today, and I back with loads of time on hand, but today went by in deep cleaning the house!
No time to craft........ I think it is that I don't want to craft nowadays, I craft only when I feel like or DT projects, it certainly has slowed down big time for me, and I am not missing it.

Anyways, I am sharing a card which is sitting for many weeks to be shared. I thought I should post it at least!

This is made using a freebie from IBS, I simply flipped the image and printed it foo, and water colored it using the zigs.
I stamped the sentiment from Uniko, from different sets,

Inspired by Stamping Freebie Showcase

Hey all I am up with a simple card using an upcoming freebie from Inspired by Stamping. This will available in their next newsletter, you need to subscribe to get their  Newsletter, click here to go to the blog.

I printed the image on Canson Bristol paper and used Staedtler markers along with the zig clean color markers to color the image, blending in with water of course.
I added a textured kraft to the die cut front, and added a textured base, and a few jewels to finish off.
I absolutely love sunflowers, and can never get tired of coloring these, I have used different colors to color this time, and I hope you guys like it.

I did add some wink of stella on the flowers to get some shimmer, and it looks brilliant.

Stitching and shimmer

Happy Friday blogger peeps!
Today's card is the one which I actually sat down to de-stress myself, and it is not for any DT commitments or any challenges. But it was solely to do what I love, which is Embroidery.

I had used the free card front front Inspired by Stamping.
Printed off, and pierced the design, my piercing mat was destroyed 2 weeks back, when my craft room window shattered into pieces because of the storm. So this piercing felt like ages yesterday, but it was so worth it.

After stitching the flowers using shaded orange floss, I colored the stems using a marker and added a matching orange base and colored the butterfly using markers in yellow and plum colors.
I used wink of stella on the flowers and the bee, and added a few sequins to finish off.

Just Buzzun' by

Hey all, I am up with a card using the freebie from Inspired by Stamping's latest Newsletter.
I shared a short video 2 days back of the coloring of this freebie.
In case you haven't seen here it is.

I used a Canson water color paper to print the freebie, and used Staedtler Marsgraphic markers 300 duo markers to color the image.
I added some wink of stell and glossy accents to some images to add some interest.
I used a turquoise textured base, and added the front and finished with a few jewels.

Grow with all your heart!

Hey peeps, I am back after many days. Both crafting and blogging has become very sporadic nowadays.
As of yesterday all the exams are finished and we get the report cards on the 30th to officially finish this academic year.
Kids have already got their schedules for the next year, so report cards are just to show how they did on their final exams. As suspected both my kids ended up in the same Math class😅, and they were not happy about it, so I had to write to the counselor to move one of them to a different class, and thankfully they did and its all good now!

Ok to the card now, I used the freebie from Inspired by Stamping, it is in the latest Newsletter. I used Staedtler's Marsgraphic duo 3000 brush markers to add color using a water brush. I had used 3 shades of pink, 1 orange, 1 yellow, and  4 shades of green to color the image.
I fussy cut the image to add to the card, the sentiment is also part of the freebie. I also added some wink of stella to the flower.
I used a striped stencil and inked it up using black soot distress ink and added some splatters using a shimmery silver water paint. I then arranged the flower and sentiment, the sentiment is edges with a shimmery maroon strip. A few jewels to finish off.

Life is a beach

Good morning/day peeps, half of the month already, and another 2 weeks to go to finish off the academic year, and then 2 months of summer holidays. But I don't think we are going away anywhere, maybe a short getaway somewhere close.
Both kids being in high school, and my son need to do lots of Prep for SAT's and he is also going to do volunteer work at school during the summer in July.
Daughter is doing Physics online, this is an additional course which she wants to do for next year for her grade 11, she is already doing her grade 11 Math this year, did I ever mention that she is already an year ahead in her school year since grade1?
There is a chance that both brother and sister might end up in the same Math class for grade 12 next year, since she is advanced in Math.... I don't want to picture that 😅 Both of them aren't really looking forward to that, neither am I ;)

Ok enough of my household stories!
Now to the card, I have used the freebie from Inspired by Stamping, which I got in the recent Newsletter.
It is a card front, so I just printed it off, and used Marsgraphic markers with water brush and inks to add color, adhered to the base, and added a chipboard to the edge, and that's it.

Hope Happens

Hello peeps, I am up with my fourth card using the Inspired by Stamping Free card front.
After printing off the card front, I used the Staedtler Marsgraphic 3000 duo markers to add color with a water brush. Instead  of coloring directly, I rubbed it on the acrylic block and picked color from there with the water brush to add. I simply wanted to have control over the amount of color I was adding.
I have used 2 purple shades, and a yellow zig clean color marker to add the yellow.
Then I added the glitter strips to the BG, and a few black jewels to finish off.

Colorful Butterfly

Happy Wednesday everyone!
I am up with another card with Inspired by Stamping's free card front.
I simply printed it off and colored it using the zig clean color markers, and used a water brush to blend in the colors.
I then added splatters using a distress ink, and then dry embossed the butterfly panel partially from the top, leaving the sentiment part plain.
Added a purple twine, and a few jewels to finish off the card.

Shimmery Sunflower

Hi friends, I hope the week has started on a good note for everyone.
At my end, darling daughter is walking to school without the crutches, she was off cast at home. But she wants to wear it to school for this week. We will be seeing her doctor this weekend and see if he recommends to stop the cast, ans wear the protective ankle brace. She did wear this protective brace and went out with me over the weekend, the good thing is that the brace can be wore with a normal shoe, which would keep her feet at same level.

Ok, lets move to the card.
I have used another free card front  from Inspired By Stamping  Newsletter, Joanna had provided 4 beautiful images as freebies.

This one is a bright and cheery sunflower.
After printing the card front, I used Marsgraphic 3000 duo markers and Faber Castell brush Markers  to color the flower and leaves, also the butterfly. I added wink of stella to the sunflower, and glossy accent to the butterfly, for got to click the picture of the gloss, but its there, trust me 😅
A few jewels and a gold strip at the bottom to finish off.
