Doodled and stitched flower combined with stamps

Hello all, we are up to a rainy and stormy morning, thought it was very dark when I woke up. But continued, woke the kids up, and proceeded to the kitchen to make kids lunch for school. I was preparing to make chicken fried rice, chopped the veggies, and put the pan on, and was about to start, then I got a message. I thought it was my helper, who wants to say that, she can't come because of the heavy rain. My daughter read the message for me, and it said "Secondary school cancelled for the morning session", so I dropped off all the cooking ;)
We both mother and daughter didn't want to go back to sleep, so we sat by my bedroom windows, my bedroom is the best place to see outside, it has huge full length windows, more windows than walls ;)
Just enjoyed looking at the rain battering our surroundings - a pitch dark morning. Now, I have let the kids to decide, if they want to attend the afternoon session, darling son says High school has sports day, so he decided to skip and is continuing with his sleep, and daughter darling is undecided for now ;), her Middle school has pink day today, and is painting next to me, while I write this blog post.

Some of the pictures from this morning, as I type it is a whole lot bright, but I see the rain picking up from far, so within minute, it will be pouring here :)

Ok now to my card.
This one was made yesterday, I doodled a flower, as I wanted to add stitches to it. The remaining stamping is done using Wplus9 - embroidered bouquet stamps.
I first doodled the flower, and then pierced holes, then used the bubble stencil from ARTplorations to sponge using yellow ink. Then I stamped the vines and flowers. Later added the stitches.
The sentiment is also from the same set.
Colors are inspired from The Challenge .

Here is the doodled flower, I used to add stitches.

A close up at the flower, I used eyelet stitch here.

  4. Hi Rahmat. I love looking out at the rain and listening to it come down as well. It's nice when you're all warm and cozy inside and not out in the rain! :)

Your card is really beautiful. Love the soft yellow stenciled circles in the background. Sweet little images stamped to create a beautiful flourish of flowers. But it's the stitched flower that is so amazing! Gorgeous Rahmat ... very unique and creative. Love it! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx
