African Violets

Hello friends, I am up with an illustration of mine.

I have illustrated African Violets and these came decent, so I decided to convert to a card.

I have made a short timelapse video on the coloring, do watch if interested.

Once the coloring was done, I had fussy cut the image.
I used the mega bloom stencil from Altenew and traced it using an Awl.
The image is added to the base using foam adhesive . Stamped the sentiment  from Altenew.

Watercolored Magnolia on black paper

Happy Sunday friends, I am up with a magnolia watercolored on a black watercolor paper.

I have used the Hero Arts magnolia flower here. The sentiment is partly from the same set and another part from Altenew.

I have used Gouache paints to watercolor.

The splatters are added with the same colors as well as using Gansai Tambi.

Daffodils galore - Uniko BA post

Hello friends, I am up on Uniko with some some inspirations using the Spring botanicals Daffodil

I have all watercolored projects here, 2 cards and one phone case backing.

I have a video for the first project and for the black one, I have review video for what watercolors work best on the black watercolor paper.

For this card I have used the Altenew watercolor brushes to watercolor the flowers, and used Prismacolor pencils to add details. I have used stamping and masking here. Decided to keep it one layer with a matching sentiment.

CASology Guest Designer - Envelope

Hello friends, I am with CASology today as a Guest Designer. CASology is one of my favorite challenges and it is the challenge which has made me realize how much I adore CAS.

Though off lately I seem to have drifted from CAS to more into coloring, but again I don't like too cluttered cards. Minimalism is my motto in life and I do want it on my cards as well most of the time.

The cue is Envelope and I did some brainstorming for 5 minutes and I knew what i want to make.
It's another white on white with a dimension, and a bit of pop of color.
I created the envelope with scrap paper lying on my desk and used Altenew stamp fort eh sentiment, a small part in red. The whole envelop is then added with foam adhesive.

I don't have my big shot with me currently, so I had used the brick stencil from Winnie and Walter and used an Awl to make these brick lines to mimic the embossing.
Hope you like this simple card made in about 10 minutes!
