Stenciled and pencil colored Poppy

Hello friends, today I am sharing a card using Altenew Poppy Stencil on black.

I first ink up the poppy with white pigment followed by the colored inks, you can see in the picture.

Then the coloring of it began, the leaves have 4 layers of various colors to achieve the look and the poppy have about 6 layers colors, I have kept the color pale and it is not very easy to achieve this color on black, my last card on where I have used bright tones were easier than this.

Once the coloring was done, I added dashes or stitches using a sakura gelly roll, The center is done using brown , green and I used a black pen to draw the details. I dont know if you can see, but there is a black jewel in the center.
The sentiment is also from Altenew, I used Vintage photo distress oxide to swipe on a white card strip to create that aged look, then stamped the sentiment, and added it with a foam adhesive.
The base sides are edged with the 2 distress oxides I used for the leaves.

Illustrated and pencil colored Hibiscus

Hello friends, I am here with another coloring.

I wanted to color a hibiscus and currently I don't have those stamps with me, I think one is in India and other in the Phillipines....partly another reason for posting mostly coloring related cards is because I have very limited craft stash here in Macau with me. I have very few stamps and Prismacolor pencils, Watercolors and a good bunch of stencils and other limited stuff. A tiny sizzix side kick, I really miss my Bigshot!

Ok enough of the distractions!

Thanks to no stamp on hand, I had illustrated the hibiscus myself, I illustrated it to an actual flower size, and I was crazy to think to color this big flower, but I am quite satisfied with the coloring.

The coloring has taken me almost 3 hours. I am seriously glad that the card assembly took about 5 mins!
I have added a process picture, so you can see how the flat drawing came to life.
The initial base layer is CrafTangles liquid watercolors, Yes the cardstock is a watercolor hot press paper.
The shades vary as the daylight varies too with some scattered clouds coming and dispersing while my coloring was getting done.
I will add a real time video of the card on Instagram if you want to see the coloring.

I did add a video for the bubble flower from yesterday.

Once the coloring was done, I fussy cut the flower.
I have used a white base card, and used the bubble stencil from STAMPlorations in fossilized Amber distress oxide ink.
Added 2 score lines on top and bottom of the base card.
The flowers is added using a foam adhesive.
The sentiment is from Altenew, edged with a gold strip, A few jewels to finish it off.

Pencil colored Tulip in a bubble

Happy Monday friends, I am up with another coloring here which I did a while back fro the Coloring challenge.

If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen my obsession with coloring bubbles. So here is another of those. The previous ones are still waiting to be converted to cards, but I am glad I managed to put this card together. I had colored a flower in bubble in March as well, and this is another one I wanted to try.

I used Prismacolor pencils to color, these are very rich in pigment and they simply blend super well. I am hooked to these pencils since march, that I reach out only to these for coloring, and frankly I haven't had enough of these pencils yet!!!

Ok, so the Tulip is from Uniko, I stamped in white pigment ink and then drew a bubble around the flower, and then there is just multiple layers of coloring, bubble is the easy one as it dosen't require much color.
For sentiment I used CAS-ual Fridays You're Terrific set, and added with perfect pearls, as I didn't wanted another layer over the card.

I didi add 2 black strips on top and bottom from the same cardstock.

Hoping this flower in bubble is a peaceful scene! It has to be really quiet for a bubble to stay on the flower for a while.

Peony Bouquet - Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration

Hello friends Rahmat here with another Inspiration using the Hello Lovely stamp set.

I used the dusty concord distress ink to stamp the image and then I inked up the panel and added some splatters to the inking.
The image was colored using Prismacolor pencils, mostly I have left it as white to stand out against the inked background.

I used the sentiment from the same set and added these using foam adhesive. I also added 2 think strips at the top and bottom to create some interest. A few jewels to finish off the card.

I hope you like the inspiration.

Wallpaper Art florals

Happy Sunday friends!
Thanks to the Daily marker coloring challenge, I have become a regular this month, in terms of crafting. I see a slump once the challenge ends!

I colored Altenew Wallpaper Art stamps today. I have used the colors inspired by their current challenge.

I stamped the flowers in versamark maroonish color ink an dthen used the worn lipstick distress oxide to color the flowers for the initial layer, then I  used the Prismacolor pencils to add more layers and details.
The leaves were stamped using vintage photo distress ink and water colored with it for first layer , followed by the color pencils.
I stamped the base card with some grass twigs using the pine needle distress oxide.
Added the florals and leaves using foam adhesive. The sentiment is stamped on black and I used perfect pearls for that.

Illustrated and colored Cactus

Happy Saturday everyone!

A quick share of an illustration I did today.
I wanted to color cactus and since I don't have any Cacti stamps, I drew one myself and used the Prismacolor pencils to color it.

I haven't added all the details to my drawing, as I was gonna add those while coloring

I used Uniko sentiment here, just edged it with a gold strip and used foam adhesive to add. The base is edged with some distress ink for fun.
A few jewels to finish off this card.
