HLS CASE Otober

Hi everyone, it's October already, where are the months sweeping by?? I just remember this year starting!

Anyways, we start with the first challenge of the month at HLS, which is CASE, Out designer this month is the very talented Birgit. She has come up with a gorgeous card for us to CASE.

 

I was inspired by the background, and the center focus image panel. and the sentiment on black.

For my card I used HLS - Mix mash stamps. I started with stamping the circles in yellow pigment ink, and then used Heidi Swapp's mixed media script stamp to stamp in shade of blue for the background to be completed. I used Altenew  roses in shades of red, stamped and fussy cut.

I added a scalloped circle, and the roses with a white thread tucked under. The sentiment is from HLS. A few bluish sequins to finish off. The front panel is framed at the top and bottom with a yellow card stock.

HLS September CASE

Hey all, it is the first of the month, and we start with our CASE challenge here today at Happy Little Stampers!

Our designer to be CASE-d today is the very talented Åsa. She has created this fun card for us to CASE.

I have used the bird, colors, and the bold sentiment as my inspiration here, and tried to maintain all the pretty white space as well.
I created a one layer card. I used the HLS - Whimsical birds set here, and stamped randomly and used the zigs to add color, the sentiment is also from the same set, a few jewels to finish off.

HLS August CASE

Hello all, it is a new month and time for a new CASE challenge at HLS.
The designer this month is the talented Gloria Lee.
She has this lovely card for us to CASE.

I was inspired by  the masked panel, I chose a circle to mask, and then used the stamps from Paper Smooches - botanical to stamp around in some bright colors.

I chose a very simple sentiment from HLS - whimsical friends to stamp in the center, and a few jewels to finish off. This one is square card.

HLS June CASE the Designer

Hello all, a new month and a new challenge at HLS CASE the Designer, and I am very happy to be the designer this month.

  We are sponsored by the HLS itself, and you are playing for a chance to win $15 discount to the shop.

The card I have for you is made using HLS - Mix Mash set. I started off with creating the bokeh using Lawn Fawn Hippo grey ink, white pigment ink, and also some silver embossed circles.
Once I was happy with the background, I stamped the freestyle florasl flower and leaves from Mama Elephant on vellum and embossed it using silver EP. Then colored using markers.
The sentiment is also from HLS, it is heat embossed on vellum in grey ink using clear EP, a few black and silver rhine stones to finish off the card.

As most of you know that I have been off card making and blogging because of my eyes problems, I am doing a short cut this time, I am really sorry to put one card for 2 DT inspirations. But this is also for my DT inspiration for ATSM  as well. We have all time favorite Anything Goes today, so join us with whatever you make.

HLS May CASE the designer

Hey all, I am happy to let you guys know that I am with the Happy Little Stampers now, I am part of the CASE the designer team, Sue had to step down due to something, and I had stepped in her place here.

This week the designer is the very talented Melissa Lane.
She has a very striking card for you all to CASE.

From Melissa's card I had taken inspiration:
- The colors - black and white and a pop
- The butterfly
- sentiment

I love black, I was into sponging on black a lot, but lately I have been smitten by coloring on black. But today I have just done stamping here. I used WPlus9 - embroidered bouquet for this, I stamped these using white pigment ink from Lawn Fawn, and also some orange pigment ink.
The sentiment is from HLS - Whimsical Friends.
I finished off with a butterfly embellishment, all in all lots of stamping here.
