Colorful butterflies wishes

Hey all, happy Monday to all. I am sharing few cards which I made last week, here it is very cold that I couldn't get any crafting done over the last few days.
Macau houses don't have central heating, and this is the coldest it has got in last 8 years for us. It was as low as 1, and the real feel was in minus. Imagine when you don't have central heating, and your house is as cold as the outside. So I was cooking but not crafting, the kitchen was the best place to spend time in.
Anyway poor kiddos and hubby has left for school and work. My son is writing is grade 10 Final exams for 1st semester, so no way missing school today. The govt has cancelled schools for the elementary though.
I am sitting with my daughter's heater now, and writing this post ;)

This is a one layer card, I had used the butterfly stamps from Uniko Studio, stamped in black and used markers to color these.  had used a gel pen as well, which is hard to show in the picture. Actually for some reason this card was pictured 3 times in last 3 days, and I couldn't get a good picture of this. This is the best picture, but still doesn't do justice to the real card.
The happy birthday sentiment is also from Uniko, and the other is from Kaisercraft.

This one is made using a water color panel. I used blue, green and orange water colors on a acrylic blocka nd sprayed some mist and then pressed the water color paper to get the background. Then I used Heidi Swapp's mixed media stamp, and stamped in orange. Added the leaves die cut from MFT, and a flower to finish off. The sentiment is from STAMplorations.

Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate your kind  feedback :) Have a great day!

  1. Beautiful cards there, Rahmat. The butterflies one just stole me heart. It's so very striking. Oh, and 1°c ?? Omg, that sure must be very tough without central heating. Wishing you warmer and sunnier days soon. :)

  3. Gosh that is cold for there! Lots of layers is the order of the day and plenty of warm drinks to keep your core temp up. Hope it doesn't last for too long. We were basking in 13' yesterday, most unseasonal. :)O

  4. We just had a very cold spell last week where it was done in the negitive temps without the wind chill factor! So glad to be out of it now, but I can relate to you...which is why I'm probably sick with a sinus infection right now! LOL!! Anyway, I just love both of your cards here today! The scattering of the colorful butterflies and the gorgeous background of your second design look amazing!! Thanks for sharing! HUGS
