Black and white with a pop of color

Here is another card, which I made yesterday. I wanted to do some sponging, and it just happened that I had black card paper and white ink sitting on my craft desk, so went for it. I had this left over butterfly die cut piece, so used it as a stencil to sponge the butterflies around the card in white pigment ink. I really loved the look after I finished sponging, and I was going back and forth whether to add color or not. I asked my darling daughter, and she gave me the best advice. She said, "Mama, do one more , and add color to one, and see which one you prefer." I was trying to figure it in my head, but she was right...LOL younger generation is indeed smarter ;)

So I chose HLS - mix mash set's smallest circles to add color here, used red and turquoise pigment ink to stamp the images, and a sharpie to add the dots. Stamped the sentiment from the same set on a grey card strip. I absolutely love this card. The black paper is glossy, so it looks like a photo to me. I used the other sponged card as a prop for the card to click picture. I hope you all like it as well.
