Paper pieced leaves

Hello everyone, happy Monday to all, and those who are still on Sunday, hope you are enjoying your weekend.
I am up with a simple card, I did some paper piecing here, I have used a scripted pattern paper for this. I stamped the leaves on the card base first , and then again stamped it on the pattern paper, fuzzy cut and added it to the card. The stamps are newly bought, it just says small stamps. The sentiment is from Waffle Flower - lotus. I stamped some acorns randomly around the card.

A closer look at work in progress.

Guest Designer at Uniko Studio

Hello friends, I am very thrilled to be guest designing with Uniko Studio today.

This fortnight's challenge is:

Geometric with an optional twist of squares, circles or triangles.

For my card, I have used the circle stamps from Uniko, to create a panel, and stamped random circles, the sentiment is also from Uniko - simply said birthday set. Its a very simple card, I chose to go monochromatic, and I made it as a masculine card, so chose to go with blue.

Do join us with this challenge, with any geometric shape. Hope to see you there.

Glowing sun, and a CASE

Hello all, sharing set of two cards, I have subbing in the afternoon, so posting early today.
The first one is a simple one layer cards, I masked a circle and stenciled the sunburst, I have used many different inks, but finished of with the Hero Arts Neon ink to give a glow. I stamped the sentiment from my custom made set, and added a sparkling letter "U". A very simple card.

A close up at the glow.

Ok, the second one is a CASE of Greta's card at STAMPlorations this month, I was surely inspired by the monochromatic colors, and the flower, so trying to give my own spin at this.
I have a flower paper lace in my stash, I cut it in half length-wise and adhered it to the sides, to frame the front panel. The flower is from Hero Arts - things we love, and the sentiment is from STAMPlorations - Trendy butterflies. I also stamped Heidi Swapp's mixed media stamp at the bottom of the flower.

Washi monochromatic

Another quick post, I am just too impatient to sit with the goodies and not to share what I made.

I have used a kraft base, and added a washi tape, then I stamped the flower from Hero Arts- things we love, and the sentiment is also from the same set. I colored it with a red marker, and then brushed some distressed crackle paste over the flower, a few red tiny rhine stones to finish off.

An orange lotus

Hello friends, hope everyone is doing great, I was in HK yesterday to shop for some crafty goodies, and I made a couple of cards this morning, I have taken up sub teaching starting tomorrow , so really wanted to try few new goodies ...lol, will share all slowly.

I am up with a simple card, I started off with an orange base, it is a shaded paper. I stamped and heat embossed the lotus from Waffle flower - Lotus, using gold embossing powder. Then I used distressed inks to add the color, and then blended it with a water brush. I also stamped two dragonflies, and the sentiment is from the same set. A few sequins to finish off.

Die-cut stencil

Hi blogger friends, the weather is appreciably cooler since Friday, in this part of the world. Hope you all are still enjoying warm weather.
Today I am sharing a one layer autumn themed card. For this card, I had used the left over die- cut paper(Paper Smooches and MFT) as my stencil. I used some distress inks - fired brick, crushed olives, vintage photo and riped permission to ink up the stencil. I also added a thiny thank you fromWPlus9. Added some sequins to finish off.

Pinterest Inspired

Hello everyone, sharing a card, with lots of stamping. I used Paper Smooches - botanicals 3, flowers and leaves and stamped using different shades of blue ink, I did a random stamping, without aiming for presfection as I wanted to mimic the picture background, the sentiment is from Uniko Studio , I had embossed it with black embossing power on vellum. I added a tiny bloom with some hancut paper swirls to finish off. Hope you all like it.
