Freehand watercoloring - CrafTangles DT post

Hello Friends, I am up with a few cards using the freehand watercoloring.

I had lots of free time on hand, and I had only few supplies on hand, mainly watercolors and card stocks, so I did some freehand watercolor painting. You might recognize the pieces from Instagram, if you are a follower of my account @rahmat.ccc

I just used the Mahogany DI pad and dabbed it on the base card and added the front panel and the sentiment is from my stash added with foam adhesive.

 I used a photo paper here my base and the inks kind of gets smudged, but believe me it makes a very pretty pattern, and i have used the hickory DI pad here. The sentiment is simply stamped on the front to finish off.

All the watercolors are from CrafTangles and you can see the colors I have used in the pictures.

Stamping and Watercoloring on Pattern Paper

Hello blogger peeps, its been a while since I had posted anything in the last few weeks. I am still on a crafting break, and both my Design teams have been have been very kind and patient with me being away for this long.

Well life had been pretty busy with our relocation to another country, and settling my daughter in her university. Now I have an empty nest with both kids in their universities, and the new nest is still not set up as of yet.

But I have a lot of free time as I am staying in hotels and no other work to do, and its been a week since we got back after settling my daughter. I had been doing some watercoloring nowadays, as I have very few supplies on hand here in the Philippines. My craft room is enroute to India along with our house stuff.

I thought of sharing one of the projects I made in these past few days.
I bought this marble themed pattern paper pack while I was in Sydney, Australia recently. I used Uniko Pure Florals - Rose stamp here.
 I did some stamping, masking and watercoloring on it. It came out looking good. There is a tiny bit of bleeding of the inks  but it doesn't spread a lot, and it has given the rose petals more realistic look. You can see below.

 I had trimmed the panel to add to a card base, the sentiment is from Pure Floral Peony set, I fussy cut the bold one and added both with foam adhesive.
I have no other embellishments on hand, so nothing else is added to this card.

I hope you do try out the watercoloring on the pattern papers if not tries already.

Uniko Challenge July/August Reminder

Hello friends, its time for the reminder for the current challenge.

I have used only the theme this time.

I used the flowers in Altenew ink and stamped all over in random, keeping a few as outlined and a few as solid ones.
 The front panel is diecut, and added in a different way for some interest.

I asked the release goodies to be delivered to India, and I don't have many craft supplies on hand there, so this time my projects are pretty humble, they lack techniques, and just stamping , sponging , masking, watercoloring and fussy cutting is what I was able to do.
