Back after a long break

Hey all, hope you all are having fun over the holidays. I was away to Thailand for over a week, and got back, and taking a bit of time to get back in routine. The kiddos are still home till next Monday, and my helper is away till then, so busy with house work....or I should say busy asking the kiddos to chip in their own share in the housework...teenagers can work LOL....and poor fellows both are doing their fair share....so a happy mommy.

Ok I made a one layer card, felt the need to sponge the sky...maybe after spending time under the sun, and looking at the sky all the time...subconsciously had to do this. I masked and sponged the kites using a red pigment ink, and doodled the string using a black marker. The sentiment is from Kaisercraft.

Doodled the string , so interpreting homespun with a twine.

Runway Inspired Challenge
I am inspired by the colors, and the carpet pattern...so sponged light clouds around.

As usual leaving some pictures from my holiday, I love sunsets and was able to witness some spectacular sunsets each day.

Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate your kind  feedback :) Have a great day!
