Calling all Sistahs Blog Hop February

Hey all, its the 17 of the month, and time to check yourself up.
I am part of the blog hop with the CASual Fridays to remind you to check yourself against breast cancer.

You might have come here from Lydia Evans blog

My card is all pink this time. I used the hope ribbon stamp, and traced it on a card strip and fussy cut. Then did the nail polish marble for that. It is the same ribbon, which I shared in my previous nail polish marble on cards. It was suppose to be used in January, but I changed my mind and made the hope necklace.
Anyway, I used the ARTplorations bubble stencil to sponge the background using SU - pink pirouette ink. The ribbon is added using a foam adhesive.
I wasn't able to use the sequins last month, as the mail was still on its way. SO I have used these sequins for this month.
The sentiment is also from the same set from CASual Fridays as the ribbon.

I hope you do check yourself up.
Your next stop is Kimberly Rendino.

Seize the Birthday - Inlaid die cut

Hey all, I am up with my final post with Seize the Birthday as my Guest Designer, I want to thank the STB team for extending their invitation to me to join as a Guest Designer for January and February. I had fun creating my cards for these 2 months!
The toppings for this challenge is inlaid die cut, you are free to join in with the Anything Goes theme as well.

For my card today, I was inspired by the picture I clicked during my recent trip to Japan. The colors of the sea was magnificent, and I was really hooked by it. I love the Ombre shades of the water, and didn't had to look further for inspiration for my card.
Here is the picture of the water I clicked on last Friday.

For my card, I used winnie&walter  stencil, cutaway die and stamp. The inks are 3 shades from Stampin Up, and one shade of distress ink.
I started with masking the front, and then added the stencil on top.

Just sponged the inks in an Ombre shade, starting from the dark on top to the lightest on the bottom. I love the perfect gradient look of the stencil.
I then used the die to cut out the middle section, and used another left over water color panel die cut to add the inlaid, also adding the front to a white base. Stamped the birthday under the inlaid die. A few matching sequins to finish off. Hope you all like it.

Ink blending on Kraft

Hey all, I hope everyone is doing well. I have been bit busy nowadays. As some you have read that I had neck and upper back sprain few weeks back, I had my 2nd physiotherapy session yesterday, and some other tests for another shoulder issue, which was troubling on and off.
All is good, I am just in prevention mode, and taking care of the issues, which I was suppose to h=get checked!

Yesterday was my blog anniversary, I cannot believe but I completed 3 years of blogging.
Thank you all for inspiring and stopping by my blog, I have made many bloggy friends here since 3 years, and I do consider some of them as my friends. A heartfelt thank you for to those who have been following my blog.

Ok, to the card now, this one was started on Monday night , and I managed to finish it yesterday night.

I chose a kraft base and used winnie&walter stencil to ink up using distress inks 3 shades of pink.
I then used the woodgrain texture stamp also from w&w to stamp on kraft using black ink, and added it angled. The flower is stamped using ripe permission on a water color paper and colored using distress inks and zigs. I decided to stamp the sentiment also on kraft and added in thin strips, finished off with 3 black rhine stones and a layered black twine, with a single bow!
I hope you guys like what I came up with.

Off the page Diamond

Hello peeps, I am up with a card, not my usual posting time, but I just finished it and wanted to post it right away!
I was inspired by Keren's challenge at winnie&walter. It took me more time to make the card in my head than actually sit down and execute it. I love exploring different ideas, and I am always out to create something different.
I used a new stash - the multi-facet diamond cutaway die from w&w, I partially cut the card, it was folded first, and then cut. I used the top one with a silver card stock, and created a shaker with some blue and transparent sequins.
I added 3 strips of acetate to hold the card to the base. The acetate is incorporated inside the shaker, for steady hold.
The 'happy' cutaway die is from another  stenciled card I made yesterday, I will post it in few days.
Stamped the sentiment from w&w, and added 3 tiny blue rhine stones to finish off. I kept the card really clean, as the main focus is on the diamond followed by the 'Happy'.
I am loving this card, I will post a small video on Instagram to show the shaker, and more of the card. If interested stop by @rahmat.ccc to watch it.

Bright colored florals

Happy Sunday everyone, I am back from my mini holiday to Japan. It was really cold, but fun. I went there to see cherry blossoms, and I was able to see the gorgeous bright pink ones, famous in Okinawa, so very happy.
Here are some pictures of the cherry blossoms, these are very different form the Main Island of Japan, a specialty of Okinawa only.

Now to my card.
This card is sitting for a while now to be shared. It is very unusual from my CAS style. If you are a regular follower, then you know me already, that every once in a while I step out of my comfort zone to create something.
I started with a black textured card, and did nail polish marblig using shades of green and a gold shimmer nail polish.
I then stamped and water colored the flowers and leaves from winnie&walter, I did no line water coloring here.
I fussy cut the flowers and leaves to add to the card. The sentiment is a cutaway die, and the small sentiment is also from w&w. I added the black front to a pale green base. I hope this card is ok, even though it is different from my style.

I stamped the cosmos on a water color paper using distress ink - velvet rose, and water colored using water color cakes. Fussy cut all to add to the card.
I arranged the flowers in a bouquet, and tied a twine to the stems.
Added a shimmery reddish maroon card stock to the bottom, and used a stitched die to add some more interest, finished off with a few jewels.

Green heart

Happy Wednesday everyone! A quick share, I made this card 2 days back.
Inspired by the Paper Smooches challenge, I chose all greens mostly here.
I had this left over heart die, I stamped PS botanicals flowers and leaves on it, I added some wink of stella on the flowers. The base is stamped with PS sweet hearts in wild wasabi. I used a left over water color panel to die cut the "love", and stamped the xoxox also from the sweet hearts set.
That is it, all green card here.
