Cross Stitch Roses

Hello all, I am up another OLC.
It is made using a new set from Waffle Flower - Stitched roses stamp set.
I used Altenew ink in 3 shades of pink to stamp all the 3 layers  of the flowers.
The leaves are stamped using SU - wild wasabi.
I stamped the sentiment is Altenew Jet Black ink, and used Twisted citron ink to sponge the stripe on the top and bottom of the card. A few blings to finish off.

Light bulb moments

Happy Monday everyone! Wish you a happy start to your week.
We are experiencing a very cold weather at the moment, and as the week progresses, the temperatures are gonna dip down further.
Currently it is 8 C and the feel like temperature is 1 degree Celsius, rain is gonna pick up anytime soon, and winds are already pretty strong, as out Government weather website is all red with various warnings.
As of now at least until next week Tuesday there seems to no relief with this weather.

Anyways, I am up with the card, I shared the glimpse at my Instagram yesterday, and sat down to finish the card now.

I had this crazy idea to make a lace dress out of the stencil, and it was bothering me so much that I had to sit down to start the card yesterday night.

I used 2 shades of DI in pink shades to sponge the dress, first I masked the card front, and used worn lipstick in to sponge tje base layer of the dress, then I used crushed berries ink with the stencil to give the lace finish. Then I doodled the arms, legs, and the clutch purse, also the flower.
As you can tell my doodling isn't that great, but the whole idea does look cute/nice.

I simply stamped the sentiment from Craftangles beautiful bloom birder in black and used a pink gel pen to draw lines under, and a few blings to finish off this One layer card. I hope you all like it. Lots of crafty love has been showered on this humble idea on my Instagram at @rahmat.cc or see it on the right side tab on my blog.

Sorry I am late

Hey blogger peeps, happy weekend!
A quick One layer share today.

I chose the stamps from lawn Fawn and stamped in black and colored the snail and the resent using the color pencils.  I also stamped a belated birthday sentient from Uniko. I used winnie&walter stencil in twisted citron in random, and finished off with a few jewels.
OOps forgot to mention that I added some glossy accent on the snail shell.

Hello friend

Happy Friday peeps, weekend is here!
We are gearing up for another very cold spell, the temperatures are gonna dip to 1 digits again, around 6- 7 celcius!!! BRR.... really!

Anyways, I wont let that affect me, I will continue to make some flower cards to cheer myself up ;)

I am up with a colored flowers again - Yes. I have been into flowers this month, almost every other card I made is a floral card!

I water colored these dahlias from winnie&walter , i posted a video on Instagram a few days back, showing the coloring which was inspired by a picture I clicked.
I used the colored card stock as base from crafTangles, and used a green ink with the stencil from winnie&walter. The sentiment is also from them, but a different set.
stamped one of the floral set on the base and arranged the flowers and leaves to finish off.

Parisian Chinese New Year

Hello friends, I am  up with a one layer card today. It is my first Chinese new year card for this year, and my first ever white colored card. As i mentioned the Chinese here don't like white on their cards for New years, but I took the liberty of white this time.

It is based on a picture I clicked of the Eiffel tower in front of the Parisian Macau. I clicked it about 2 weeks back.

So I used the stencil from CrafTangles to sponge the clouds, and then stamped the Eiffel tower from Happy Little Stampers, and the cherry blossoms are stamped from CrafTangles,
I used color pencils to color the flowers.
The sentiment is from mama Elephant - it means, wish you prosperity!. A few jewels to finsh off.
My husband and daughter both have really liked this card, my husband complimented on the sky! Surely made me happy to hear from people who are not in cards.

Feathery Twofer

Happy Wednesday everyone!
I was able to make some quick makes for the twofer challenge and also combined a few others!

I have used the trendy feather stamp from STAMPlorations for both the cards.
I have one encouragement card, and one thank you card.

I used CrafTangles clouds stencil to sponge the clouds using chipped sapphire and broken china DI. Then I used Lawn Fawn white pigment ink, and stamped 2feathers, and used the blue ink for the other 2 feathers,  to give a floating feel.
I die cut a cloud panel and stamped a feather and the stamped the sentiment is from CASual Fridays - Floating set in Lawn Fawn Grey ink, a few blings to finish off.

------------------------------
This is almost a one layer card except for the sentiment strip.
I first stamped the feather in 2 DI. then used ARTplorations bubble stencil and dry embossed the front, and stamped the sentiment and edged with a gold glitter strip and added to the card, a few few blings to finish off.

MY first ever flower stamp set

Happy Tuesday everyone!
A quick share, I am still not up much on the blog nowadays, I come in to write up a post, and you know that I am typing in a rush, as there are so many typos!
The household is busy since the academic year started in late August.
Just too many follow ups to do.

Anyways, I am up with a card using Mama Elephant Freestyle Floral set, this set is my first ever floral set, I bought in 2015 February, and there was a time every card I made had these flowers!

I stamped, embossed and masked and stamped the flowers and leaves. Used the copper EP from Zing. The leaves are stamped in momento olive shade.
Used Zigs to water color the images.
The sentiment is from another ME set, finished off with a few jewels.

Wet on wet watercoloring

Hello friends, today I am up with a wet on wet watercolor card. This is my first ever try at this, not my comfort zone at all.
I have been bit adventurous with watercolors for an year now, and totally stepped out of my comfort zone for this card.
I colored this a few days back, and converted it to a card.
I heat embossed the Gerbara daisy from Uniko using a copper EP from Zing.
Used the STAEDTLER marsgraphic markers to water the images.
Once dry, I edged the panel with a gold slitter strip,  added the water colored panel to the base and stamped the sentiment and finished off with a few jewels.
