Colored cosmos with ink blending

 Happy weekend friends!

I am up with another of my illustrations today, again the cosmos flower.

I printed the digi and used a rectangle mask and did the ink blending first, I have used a cloud stencil to ink some clouds in the background. I haven't masked the flower though.

Then I used the Prismacolor pencils to color the flower.

I used an Awl to trace the diagonal stripes using a stencil on the base card.

The sentiment is from Altenew.

Uniko Jan/Feb Challenge Reminder

 Hello friends, it's time for a reminder post for the Jan/feb challenge at Uniko.

The theme is anything goes, and I have used the optional twist of stencils as well.

I have used the Uniko Stencil - Stylised Floral

I have used Altenew Sunray ink to ink blend the stencil, and used an orange color pencil to add some details, and used orange ink to sponge the centers. Added sequins to the centers, finished off an outlined sentiment and orange glitter edges to the panel.

One layer sky

 Hello friends, I am up with a super quick CAS One layer card. I have used Distress inks and oxides to create the ink blended sky with masking.

The dandelions were a gift by daughter from Taiwan, she went there for her school trip and brought me a few goodies way back in 2014.

The sentiment is from Altenew.

Lunar New Year

 Hello friends, I am back on my blog after a few days. Though I had been active and posted a few projects on instagram, which didn't made it to the blog.

This card idea was sitting for a while, and finally I sat down to execute it. I saw a picture on Pinterest and was inspired to make this card.

Carnations and Bubbles

 Hello friends, I am with a bubble card with the Altenew carnations. The idea was sitting in my head and I really wanted to try this out. Loving how it came out.

I stamped the flowers in white pigment in on black and then used the prismacolor pencils to color the flowers and draw the bubbles.

The sentiment is from the same set, but added with perfect pearls.

Cactus heart

 Hello friends, I have another card with cactus today. This was also illustrated by me a few months back.

I have used Altenew brush markers to watercolor this.

Pencils are used to add a few details, mostly on the flowers, and to draw the thorns on the cactus.

I have used a wave stencil to ink up with a very gentle hand to mimic the sand dunes.

The sentiment is also from Altenew, I added a gold sequins foils from Gina k.

I hope you like the illustration and coloring.
