Guest Designer for TIMEOUT Challenges

Hello friends, I am happy to be guesting over TIMEOUT Challenge today.

I have just used a bold sentiment to interpret the cue word brave, I think 'You got this' is simply a brave sentiment.

The stamps are from the Ton stamps, the dragonfly is rom Waffle Flower stamps. The base is inked in rainbow shades. I colored a few bubbles to go along the design.

Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate your kind feedback. Have a great day!

CASology Guest Designer - Envelope

Hello friends, I am with CASology today as a Guest Designer. CASology is one of my favorite challenges and it is the challenge which has made me realize how much I adore CAS.

Though off lately I seem to have drifted from CAS to more into coloring, but again I don't like too cluttered cards. Minimalism is my motto in life and I do want it on my cards as well most of the time.

The cue is Envelope and I did some brainstorming for 5 minutes and I knew what i want to make.
It's another white on white with a dimension, and a bit of pop of color.
I created the envelope with scrap paper lying on my desk and used Altenew stamp fort eh sentiment, a small part in red. The whole envelop is then added with foam adhesive.

I don't have my big shot with me currently, so I had used the brick stencil from Winnie and Walter and used an Awl to make these brick lines to mimic the embossing.
Hope you like this simple card made in about 10 minutes!

Guest Designer for TIME OUT Challenge

Hello friends, today I am delighted to be guest designing with TIMEOUT Challenge.

Thank you for having me over at your blog 😊

They have a beautiful inspiration to get inspired.

I was inspired by the Succulents, woodgrain as well as the mandala pattern from the picture, so I have incorporated all the elements on my card.

Altenew is the sponsor for the challenge and I used Altenew products on my card.

I have used the Enchanted Iris set and used the Iris leaves to stretch my stamps to create the succulent.

I stamped in green and used Prismacolor pencils to color the leaves and then fussy cut assembled to create the succulent. The pot is also created using the swiping technique on cardstock using the inkpad.

I used foam adhesive to add this to the front.

I used Uniko marvelous Mehndi Mandala in Versafine watermark ink to create a faded tone on tone background. I wanted the Mandala there, but not in a dominating way.

Then I used another distress ink to create the woodgrain using the same swiping technique I used for the pot.

The sentiment is from the same set from Altenew.

Do stop by TIMEOUT blog to check out the wonderful inspiration by their DT members

CASology Guest Designer

Hello friends, I am guesting with CASology today.

This is the Cue for the week

The cue seems to  have come to me on a right time, the parent in me is very active and involved as my first born is getting ready to leave the nest, and venture into university life in the coming months.
He has got many acceptances, and he finally made his decision a few days back.
The card I made today is with very much like my soon to be situation .

I printed the outlined house off a free printable, and stamped the sentiment in grey ink, from Technique Tuesday - home set. I doodles the mom and dad inside the house, added a few jewels to finish off the front, and added it to a grey base.

Guest Designing for Crafting Desert Divas

Good morning/evening everyone!
Thursday already!!! Schools are done with first term, and my home is off to a very busy start since the start of the school. My son has already started applying for universities, and reality is starting to sink in slowly!!!

Ok, so today I am sharing a card for Craftin Desert Diva.

I was happy to be one of the November Guest Designers.
Tara has sent this cute "Snow Happy" stamp to me, and I will be sharing a few projects for the next few days.

I stamped and colored the image and fussy cut it to add to the front. I have used Staedtler's Marsgraphic markers to water color the image.
I used a cloud die and used broken china ink to lightly sponge it and also did the same on the front.
I then used the true snow and applied over the sponged ink to give a snow effect. I also stamped the snowflakes from the same set in the above ink, finished off with some blings and sequins. The sentiment ids also from the same set.

Guest designer ATCAS

Hey all, I am happy to be a GD for Addicted To CAS for the fortnight.

The code is Rainbow

I am using this masking and blending techniques after many moons. I simply used masking paper and masked the top corner and used the inks in the shades of rainbow to shape a kite.
Light blending using blue ink, and I also stamped small outlined circles using HLS  stamps, and the sentiment and chevron stamp is also from the same set Mix mash from HLS.
A close to one layer card, super simple.
