Hello all, today we are continuing with our introduction of the new stamps for the release. You might have seen the sneak peeks of these 2 sets already.
I have used only the Marvelous Mehndi set here today.
I chose the big mandala stamp, and wanted to focus it. I used gold gel pen, and markers to color it. Added a black jewel at the center, and many gold jewels along the circle on the design. I hope I haven't overloaded the jewels here today ;) It looks ok to my eyes though. I used gold card stock to line the front panel to add to the base.

For my second card, I thought of adding the stamps like we do freehand henna/mehndi in India. It is been many years that I did a freehand henna.
I used the stamped in a freehand flowing manner, and colored using only 3 colors, I wanted a lot of orange to mimic the real mehndi on hands.
A gold strip and gold twine to finish of the card, along with a few jewels.

A close up at the jewels, which have blended pretty well with the colors. |
