Road to success

Today my blog is bombarded with posts, I guess! I already had a scheduled post this morning for my DT inspiration for ATSM, and one more upcoming post in an hour or two for my DT inspiration at CSSC, and I just finished making this card, and wanted to post it right away, when the sun is shining brightly over here :)
For this card, it is very evident that the mother and teacher in me are very dominating. When I saw the CASology cue word last night, I knew exactly what I was making.....I keep telling my kids and students to work hard for their success, and it is not an easy way ahead.
The sentiment is computer generated, unfortunately I don't have this long nice quotes in my stamps, so sometimes I end up printing my own quotes from my collection!

I am trying to depict a road, which is very similar in our real life. The roads to success is not a straight road, it has ups, downs, twists, and turns. I have used a black chipboard strip to pave the road on my card ;)
I tried my best to smudge the sentiment it was not easy to mess up something on purpose, I am a neat freak! you have to look closely, I managed to do it, not evident very clearly, but I did.
I had used the WC rhesus font to create the soil splatters.
A very simple card, but the moral of the message is what is important here. I haven't decided whether this card will be addressed to my son or daughter yet! but one of them for sure ;)
Hope you like my interpretation of the word "UNDER". I made quite a few "thinking of you" cards recently, and didn't want to make another one in that series, so chose a motivational card for teens!

I had just used one more color in addition to black and white.

I know, it is a very long post, full of words, I hope I didn't make you yawn along the way ;)
Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate your kind  feedback :) Have a great day!
