A mixed media card

hey all, this is my third post of the day. I made this card this afternoon, I watched the video at STAMPLorations, where Monika did her spotlight project. I was truly impressed with her card. So gave a spin of my own.

I started with a water color front panel. for this I used a cling wrap, and dabbed it with distress inks - dried marigold and mustard seed. I sprayed some mist and then I pressed my watercolored panel on it. It completely absorbed the swooshed up inks. Then I used  Heidi Swapp's mixed media script stamp to stamp the script in dried marigold. I used mama elephant - zenith shapes, the chevron stamps to stamp around.
The sentiment on the arrows is from Kaisercraft. The other 2 words- happiness and memories are from the Hero arts - things we love. So is the flower stamp as well. "#buy this" stamp is from another company, unfortunately I don't have the name.....I will try to look for it.
I added a doily on the finished panel, and added a gold twine, and used foam adhesive for my flowers. I used a light turquoise textured card for my base.
There is a lot going on this card, and I am quite happy with the result, hope you all like it too.

  A close up.

Heartfelt thanks

Hey all, my second post of the day. I happened to make a couple of cards yesterday and posting one by one.
This one is a paper pieced card, I had stamped the butterfly stamp on the card base, and stamped it on a floral pattern paper, and fuzzy cut to add it to the card.
The sentiment is from Waffle Flower - lotus. Few pearls added to finish off, a super simple card.

Blue flowers

Hey all, a quick share.
I used a red textured base, and a water color paper for the front panel, Stamped the Uniko flowers  in smoky sky, and a blue ink. I didn't wanted to do any masking for this card, I wanted the blues overlapping. The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.

Pink Poppies

I am up with another card, actually I started this card yesterday. I got these flowers from Monika, she sent me these few months back, and I finally got a chance to use these. I colored these using pencils, and fuzzy cut. It was already 10pm, so stopped yesterday. I sat down to finish it today after my Chinese lesson. I started off with Heidi Swapp's shine mist spray, after spraying, I decided to add some gold embossing powder to it, and heat embossed it.
Then added the doily, along with a golden twine, and added the flower using foam adhesive.
Added the sentiment under the flower, and few pink rhine stones to finish off.

Red and gold

Good morning/evening all, I am up with a quick share. I will start my Chinese lessons today onward, we are living for 8 years here in Macao, next to China, and I had finally made up my mind that I should give it a try. I love learning new languages, I try to learn the language of every country I move to, and so far, I speak- English, Hindi, Telugu, Sanskrit, Urdu, Indonesian, Malaysian, Korean, and I read Arabic. The first 4 languages, I can read and write as well.

Anyways, lets go back to the card I am sharing, a simple Christmas card in red and gold.
I started off with a red textured base, and I got the happy mail from Beverly of Uniko Studios yesterday, and wanted to try the new vines, winter background stamps.
I used a tiny pine leaves stamp, and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder, and stamped a poinsettia, and few more red dots. The sentiment is from Kaisercraft, mini stamps. Oops forgot to mention that, I also added a gold paper strip on the top and bottom of the front panel. Finished off with matching sequins.

A winter penguin

Hi everyone! Wednesday already, the week is going by pretty fast. I am up with a one layer card today. I made this card yesterday evening. Thought of sharing it before I start preparing my lunch, planned a special lunch, so no crafting in the morning today.
I started off with masking, and sponging the bottom with red pigment ink, and then used a black sharpie to draw the plaid design. Then I stamped the penguin, and snowflakes from Lawn Fawn - winter penguin set. Colored the penguin using markers. I added wink of stella to give snow feel. The sentiment is from STAMPlorations - trendy feathers. I also added a silvery snowflake sequin on one of the stamped snowflake. My daughter couldn't believe that the plaid is penned by me, so she came in to feel it, and was satisfied after flipping and touching. She said it looks 3D ;)

Gold and texture cards

Hello friends, I am in mood for crafting today, made these 2 cards.
The first one up is a simple Christmas card with gold embossing. I used Kaisercraft bauble and snowflakes stamps, some I haven't inked up yet. Used the gold embossing to heat emboss, and the sentiment is from the same set. I added a gold string to the bauble, and lifted the panel up with foam adhesive.

I hope this card fits well with the theme.

---------------------------------------------------------
The second one is a CASE for Suchi's card at STAMPlorations. I was inspired by the black and white with the pop of colors. I used my twine stamping technique to get a texture for my card, I did masked and stamped the twine on one half. Added a die cut butterfly, which I sponged with some different color inks. The sentiment is from WPlus9, I think the sentiment goes well with the texture. I like this card very much, specially the texture.

A hanging bauble- shaker

Good morning friends, happy Monday from Asia. I am posting after few days, was really out of swing, my mojo was playing hide and seek with me..but was happy to see myself as a winner at AAA cards yesterday, and a couple of random wins for the stamp releases came my way, which made my Sunday and Monday a happy one.

A couple of challenges are asking for Christmas cards, and I thought of combining a few challenges to make this card. The idea came to me when I was about to sleep yesterday night, and I played along with the idea in my head. I sat down to watch some TV while doing some coloring this morning, then I remembered that I will go to my son's Football match later today, so sat down to execute this card, after some lunch preparations. If you don't know, hubby dear comes home for lunch everyday from work, except the days I am doing substitute teaching, we have been eating together for years now.

Ok, anyways now to my card, this card really took a long time to make. I started off with cutting the circle first, and then made the shaker part. I used some pink foil paper to do this, since I made a bauble. I had to attach a silver string to the shaker part, as it is a hanging shaker, I tied a mini bow as well to complete the bauble look. Then I used my new snowflakes stamps from the Kaisercraft, which I picked up almost 3 weeks back and didn't use till today. I used the Hero Arts - purple neon ink to stamp the mini snowflakes, and the big ones are heat embossed with silver powder. I realized that I didn't leave any place for the sentiment, so had to stamp it on the snowflakes. Lastly attached the shaker to the card.
NOw clicking pictures was a BIG challenge, as the hanging shaker won't listen to me, and I had to click the way it is hanging, tried moving around, but not very happy with the pictures. Hope the pictures are not too bad, and you guys can see the efforts, and all the important elements well.
