Video on marbling, and an Anniversary card

Happy Sunday everyone, our Sunday is almost done here, the weather is bit cold, so we all are stuck in the cozy house.

I have another marbling card today, and also a video on this technique. I have done nail marbling, and created a few examples in the video to give an idea to the ones who wants to try.

Please watch the video for the nail marbling details.

I had left the marbling cards for a few days to think how to finish those.
I had used the Happy cutaway die from winnie&walter. My daughter suggested I should make this one as an anniversary card. So I chose the Anniversary sentiment from Altenew vintage roses. I decided to add a leafy twig too, and a few black jewels to finish off.

Nail Marble on cards

Photo Heavy Post

Hello blogger friends, its Thursday already, the week is going by pretty fast.
You might have seen that I am doing a lot of marbling. Today's card has Nail marbling on it, it is the same panel I shared on Instagram a few days back. I LOVE nail marble art, and I was completed hooked into it. But today it just a card.

I started with the same technique as for the nails, and instead of dipping the nails, I dipped the white card stock panel, and lifted it up, and TADAA I had this beautiful panel.

Now I had waited more than a day to think it through, to how to use the panel. It's not the size that I could use as a whole base, so I ended up using it as a tag, I used Avery Elle Tag die to cut out a tag.

The theme I chose is Valentine's day, as the colors were calling out loud for it! Well you have to go with the flow. What can I say? ;)

I added a heart stamp sticker from my collection, the colors go pretty well with the tag.
I decided to add a matching satin ribbon to tie the tag, and I LOVE LOVE the way the ribbon hangs!
The base was looking too plain, so I used the stencil from winnie&walter to ink it in velvet rose distress ink.
The happy is also from winnie&walter, and cut out using a maroon shimmery card stock.
I decided to stamp the sentiment on the same card stock, also from w&w.
That is it, all done, and I can say that I am in LOVE this card, specially the colors!!!

Used 3 nail polishes here Copper glittery one, pink, and a dark maroon shade

This photo is just to show the hanging ribbon

Marbling take 2

Happy Tuesday everyone. I am up with another marbling card. You will see quite a few cards with this technique, as my desk is full of marbling experiment cards.

I have once again used the shaving foam technique, I used distress ink spray - forest moss here to create the marble background.

I used the leaves from In bloom: Addie's garden set from winnie&walter.
I had stamped the leaves on water old paper in distress inks twisted citron and old paper, and then used the waterbrush to blend in the color, fussy cut to add to the card.
I added a twine, and leaves hanging down from the top corner.

The sentiment is from The big, The bold, and The Happy from winnie&walter.
I love this card, as green is my color.

Leaving you all with a few more examples of my nail marbling, I haven't done this in one year time, you bet I will be doing this in one of these days.

This one is bit crazy, I was experimenting with colors, and I did get quite few stares when I went ;)
Well, stares don't matter to me, I like to have the freedom to explore.
I even went to school teaching with these nails :o, the only problem was whenever I used to move my hand around the smartboard, the girls eyes used to follow my fingernails, they got pretty interested in the nails ;) asking how I did those!

Ok now to the card, I am linking this with:
