City Home

Happy Sunday friends,

I am up with a super simple card with minimal colors on it.

I was inspired a couple of challenges and as well as my view from home for this card.

I looked outside this morning and it was cloudy and overcast, we live on the 38th floor, so we can not only see very far but also into another country! The view is beautiful most of the time regardless of the weather, the same view I have different shots and all look so different yet stunning .

Those mountains are in China.

I have used Hickory smoke DI to depict the overcast grey skies using the stencil from Craftangles, a very gentle hand is used to sponge the clouds.
The skyscaper die cut is from Paper Smooches, I have lightly colored using Grey, and orange Prismacolor pencils.
That amazing sentiment from Technique Tuesday stamps. I added score lines to frame the sentiment.
I did add a few heart sequins, and one sequin on a top window to depict HOME.

Hoping I can call it CAS despite so much going on this quick make.

Floral cards - CrafTangles DT inspiration

Hello friends, I am up on hndmd blog with some inspirations using crafTangles Watercolor floral element packs. All projects use CrafTamgles products - stencil masks, stencils, stamps and elements packs.

I do have video here for you to see how these cards were made.

I apologize for the bad lighting, we are going through some rainy days and my desk being on the far end of the room away from window, so I have to resort to the indoor lightning, which makes the colors seem  dull. But my photos are clicked by the window and are clear and crisp.

CrafTangles Inspirations March 2nd post

Hello friends, I am up on hndmd with my inspirations today!

Today I am featuring the Everyday sentiments set. I have used the Sunflowers in different colors here. All the flowers are colored using the Prismacolor pencils.

I have a short video to show some coloring and a project here.

The first card is done with lots of masking and stamping, followed by coloring. I just added some scattered light clouds over the white space, and the sentiment is stamped in black from the same set.

The second card is made using the CrafTangles stencil masks - Circles, I have stamped the sunflower first then masked it and added the circle and inked up using an orange shade ink. Once the coloring was done, I stamped the sentiment to finish off this one layer card.

The last card is stamped on kraft cardstock from Craftangles, and I used a white pigment ink to stamp the flower, and colored using the pencils. I masked the white base and inked up some pink ink to create a border and added the front, the sentiment is stamped on the same kraft strip and added to the card.

Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate your kind feedback. Have a great day!

Its all about Love - CrafTangles DT inspiration

Hello friends, I am up on Hndmd with my DT inspiration with these cards.

I have used the stencil masks for all 3 and also the stamps from the latest release.

I had used the heart stencil here and sponged the hearts in various shades of pink inks to create an Ombre heart streak. I then stamped the bold sentiment and added a small sentiment from the elements pack with a foam adhesive. I used a pink patterned base for the front. Finally added some translucent shimmer to the big bright pink heart to finish off.

-----------------------------
I have used 2 heart stencil masks to sponge the heart here in Momento ink, added a translucent shimmer and the sentiment is from the elements pack, and used a patterned base to finish off.

 -----------------------------------------------
I used a circle mask to create the moon and used blue and purple ink to create the moonlit sky. I decided to stamp the sentiment partially on the moon as well. I also added a small strip at the base to add some interest.
