Hey all, I am up with a set of 2 cards inspired by the twofer challenge.
I have used the Uniko Gerbara flower set here for the floral theme.
I have made one "Friend" card, it can be for any occasion. The other one using the same stamp, and I made it as an encouragement card.

I used a white base and a kraft front for this card. I stamped the outlined Gerbara and colored it using the zig clean colors markers. I used the broken line stencil and added some random strokes without taking away too much clean space, a one word sentiment is stamped, and it can be used for any occasion to send to a friend. I finished off with a green glitter strip to one edge and a few jewels.

I am hoping that despite the broken lines, my space comes out to be one third. If it is not eligible, please feel to delete it!

Floral Frenzy
-------------------
For this card, I used the same flower outline and did mirror stamping, to create wings. I am hoping that you can see these as wings, even though it is a floral stamp.
I used the zigs to water color the wings. Stamped the sentiment from CASual Fridays.

I have used the same colors, though the red shows as pink on the white paper, but it red!

Yes I see it and it's so creative. The sentiment is perfect for the image!
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards using the daisy flower Rahmat! Love the beautiful orange blossom on the kraft card stock. The streaks of blue from the stencil add a lot of interest without being busy. Great design! And so clever to join the two flowers to create a set of wings. Very colourful and fun ... and works perfectly with your sentiment. Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge. xx
ReplyDeletegerberas are my favorite flowers and you used it so well. Thank you for playing at AAA cards

ReplyDeleteSuch a clever take on the challenge. Both beautiful cards, great gerbera stamp and such pretty colouring x
ReplyDeleteRahmat, that was very ingenious to use that beautiful Gerbera daisy (now on my Wish List) as a pair of wings to go along with that wonderful encouraging sentiment! You have colored it beautifully! And I love it in bold orange on your lovely CAS Friend card with the minimal streaking to add interest!! Thank you so much for playing along this month in Twofer Card Challenge #3 and thank you for posting to FB, too! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteLove how you colored the orange daisy (it looks so real) and your stenciled background! And how clever to create colorful wings out of them!
