Bright Spring card

Hello friends, I am up with a card using my friend Radhika's illustration.

I had used Prismacolor pencils to color the flowers and then of course I had to color bubbles on the image, as you can see from my posts, that I am stuck on bubbles again!

The sentiment is from CASual Fridays.

Other than coloring nothing much is done on this card, hope you like this take.

You are pretty amazing

Happy Sunday everyone, I am up with a very different card from me. It was colored. few months back and was waiting to be converted to a card, I finally did it today.

The pretty image is from Aurora Wings, I have used Prismacolor pencils to color it, and just added a sentiment from CAsual fridays to finish it.

Something different me, I usually don't color people and animals, I find it extremely challenging. Flowers are my love any given day.

Floral girl - a simple illustration and coloring

Hello friends, I am up with another illustration and coloring of mine. Tis illustration is inspired by an old card of mine, I think its from June 2018.

This is the card which inspired me to illustrate this digital image now.

I know that the eyebrow and other parts needs more work in the digi, but I am happy with the rest of the floral design, even the eye! For time being I have decided to color, but will surely improve it later.

So I gave it a go for the coloring challenge.

I have used Prismacolor pencils, you can see the wide range of colors used on this simple coloring.

The lips were colored in nude tone because I wear that shade of lipstickšŸ˜‚and I had a hard time convincing myself to add a bit of pink to it.

The sentiment is from CAS-ual Fridays.

I used a pink and black DI to create the edge on the base card.

Nothing else is done here. I hope you like it.

Mistakes are teachers in disguise

Hello friends I learned a few lessons from yesterday's coloring mistake has taught me a few lessons, and to see coloring in new light. I wanted to try it out for today's coloring.

I first illustrated the flower, today I chose a small flower. Once I applied the lessons from yesterday on the hibiscus, as it somewhat came to my liking, so I added a bubble around it. As you can see I have tried to color some transparent bubbles, I have been trying these for last few days, and I didn't had much success. These are somewhat better than my previous tries so I tried to convert this into a card.
The sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays seem perfect for it.
I added translucent glitter glue to the bubbles to add some sparkle to these bubbles.
The big bubble is added with a foam adhesive. A few jewels to finish off.

I find this card design to be peaceful, so adding it with yet one more entry!

Coneflowers Take 2

Hello friends, I managed to convert another colored pieces to a card. These coneflowers are the same digital stamp from Power Poppy, actually when I printed the image was bit off the edge and a tiny part of the flower is missing, but I didn't feel like trashing the image away.

This was once colored with Prismacolor pencils, Yes I was hooked to these since March and used only color pencils since then.

I trimmed the colored image front and did ink blending with a mix of colors, you can see the colors I have used in the picture below.
The advantage of these color pencils is that you can do ink blending and the image color remains unaffected due to the wax! so no masking is need to protect the images.
I used bubble stencil yet again, and the sentiment is from CAS-ual fridays. I added purple glitter strips on both sides to the front panel, a few jewels to finish off.

Flying by

Hello friends, Hope your weekend has stated great.
we are bracing a big typhoon here, it is expected to make landfall and continue to move towards in this direction and tomorrow seems to be a crazy day.

Anyways, I made this card last week and totally forgot to share.
It is a one layer card.
I have doodled the plane and the dots and stamped the sentiment from CFS. I also didi a bit of sponging to create some clouds. That's all, it was made in less than 5  mins!

Have faith

Hello friends, I am up with another simple make today.

I have used CFS here to make this card.
I first scored the base to get some dimension. The letters are stamped and I colored only the BG leaving the flowers as outlines, added a textured green card to the panel and added it to the bottom of the card. I went back and forth to place the word 'have', but decided to pace it right above.
That is it! I would have added a few blings, but I don't have any here, and I am unable to find those in any stores.
So the limited supplies have brought me back to my love - CAS.
