Good morning peeps, happy Monday, and a beautiful day it is with clear blue skies, so will enjoy it as much as possible, there is rain and grey skies in forecast.
I was hit with this crazy idea for a card yesterday evening, while I was sitting and looking at the sunset from my home. The evening was beautiful with the hues of orange slowly covering the buildings, it was a pretty view to witness, and I thought of this idea of showering love on the city-scape.
I knew I could use Paper Smooches die and stamps for hearts, but was thinking for the right sentiment, and then I remembered about this Wplus9 set, which is perfect for this card's sentiment.
Almost a one layer card but for the die cuts
I of course started with the die cut first, chose black. Then the next thing to draw an airplane on the top as I don't have any stamps of airplanes yet.
So first I practiced a sample and it looked ok, since it has only lines and circles on it, it was easy to draw, I can only draw flowers and leaves but nothing else! I used a black sharpie for this.
Once done, I used 3 tiny stamps from Paper Smooches - Sweet hearts, used Hero Arts Ombre ink and a red ink, so total 4 inks to stamp the hearts, in a random fashion, but not all over the card.
Finally stamped the sentiment, I chose red for the "love". I like how my imagination has taken shape after execution, it is a cute card.
