Hello all, I am very happy to let you all know that I will be featured at CASology for 4 weeks. When Melissa asked, if I would be interested, I said a big YES immediately. CASology is one of my favorite challenge blogs, I give a lot of credit for my CAS creations to CASology. Please visit the challenge blog at CASology to see the complete feature.
Today I am sharing a card which goes well with the current cue at CASology - Open.
As you all already know that at times, I use quotes from my collection on cards. I have used these lovely words from my collection today for this card, so first I printed the sentiment off the computer. Then die cut the heart, and used the negative part here. I used ARTplorations - oh my stars stencil to dry emboss the front. Using stencils to emboss gives you a lightly embossed surface.
I sponged the scene on the base card using blue, orange and yellow pigment inks. I also added a candle to the base.
Used foam adhesive to add the front panel, and a few rhine stones to finish off. I stamped a tiny heart in red from Paper Smooches.
I have more than one interpretation for the cue.
1. The negative acts as open space.
2. The openness of the sky
3. The strength of a prayer to open any close door.
I hope you like my card.
