Hi everyone, I am up with 2 cards today. Actually I have many cards to share, and a bit busy, yesterday was subbing so no time at all. Today also have to step out for a lunch with a friend, but thought of putting 2 cards in a post, and will see if I have time to post something else. A win at CASEplorations made my day this morning, YAY so happy.
The first one up is a card with swooshed background.
I used distressed inks stormy sky, dusty concord, and Victorian velvet, and dabbed on the surface and sprayed some mist, and pressed my card against it. I love the background, the effect looks like marble, I do marble nails so these colors are on my list now ..LOL.
Ok, I added a purple panel to frame the background, and I used a pattern pattern to die cut hte houses from Paper Smooches. I decided to leave some of the windows in, just for fun. The sentiment is from Words to Rescue.

I have used more than 4 colors on my card, and the die cut is from Paper Smooches

Double D Challenge
Going with just the colors, might add another entry with flowers.
-------------------------------------------------------
The second one is a simple one layer card. I had used a textured vanilla base for this. I used the stamps from Hero Arts - things to love, and stamped the flowers in purple shade of chalk ink from versamark, and the leaves using pear pizzaz. I decided not to add any embellishments to this.
