Hello! sharing a card which I made yesterday, I made it for the following challenge:
I am inspired by the tiled color palette here, but I didn't use it anything like it looks here, instead I put my own spin to it and used on this flower, this flower digi is a free digi from The Alley Ways Stamps.
When I saw the flower, I knew right away that I wanted to use it with the color palette here, the sentiment "bloom" is also a freebie from the same set.
I just used textured red base card, and printed the digi, and colored it using different types of markers in different colors from the palette in the picture. I colored like a child, without bothering to give any shading, but just has to stay within the lines. I also added a tiny sentiment from Kaisercraft, and a twine to finish off.
My daughter was pretty impressed with my coloring, she said, "It looks like you printed the flower, did you?"...I said,"Really, you think so?", She said, "It's a compliment Mama, that's how real the coloring looks". You can tell, I was pretty happy with her remark :D
Forgot to mention that, I used my gel pen to give color in the "o's" .
