Combined couple of challenges and made this bright, cheerful card. But I know, the pictures are really bad. I just couldn't get a good picture, the weather is pitch dark and rainy :(
Anyways if you are wondering what is this all about? Suppose to be decorative lights. Started with CASology's cue - Electric. Here in Macau, if you go out in the night, the streets are decorated with plenty of lights, after all its a casino city, it needs to look bright and inviting in the night.
I chose red and white embroidery threads to stitch the electric wires. Chose yellow beads for the lights.
Sponged the bottom edges with a bright yellow ink, and a dab of red ink here and there. The sentiment is stamped with red ink. A very simple one layer card.

A closer look at the bead lights and the sponging around those.
The sentiment is in bright red color, but I just couldn't get a justifying picture of it.
tried so many shots around the house, but all in vain, really the pictures are all pretty bad, I feel bad for the card. Just had a chance to add some new pictures, which I clicked just now under natural night, what a big difference!

My interpretation for electric is decorative lights used during celebrations!
I had stitched up the electric wires, using white and red threads, and added beads to the stitching.
Used only 3 colors - white, red and yellow for my card
Thank you for stopping by, have a great day!
Amazing creation, Rahmat! Your stitching (with beads) is the STAR for your design and it mimics the decorated lights so perfectly! Thanks SO much for entering Virginia's View Challenge!
ReplyDeleteOh my but your stitching is just so creative. I love your take on Electric! So glad you joined us at CASology this week!
