Textures thanks

Happy weekend everyone!
Today not my usual style card.
I am up with a mixed media card attempt.

I chose a pale green textured base, ans a white front to start.
I used many shades of DI in green to sponge on the white front. Then used a stencil to so some ghosting, followed by a bamboo stencil and embossing paste to add the texture.
Once it was dry, I used Uniko's Natures treasure, and round and round stamps to stamp the leaves in the BG in shades of green and using the velvet rose ink.
Then I stamped and embossed the Thanks also from Uniko and added color using a Marsgraphic marker, and fussy cut the letters and added diagonally, just to add interest. I edged the front with a maroon glitter paper and added to the base.

White on White

Happy Monday everyone, It's June already, and my countdown has begun for the no.of days I need to send lunch to school 😅 Well I need to send for a bit over 10 days. 30th will be the last working day and Report cards day fort this academic year.
I cannot believe that my son will be promoted to grade 12, his final year of school, and daughter to grade 11th, time seems to be flying by!

Anyways, lets move to my card.
I made this inspired by a few challenges.
I had used Altenew's Beautiful day set here.
I had used all white here today, along with the use of a very little color.
I started with Tim Holtz burlap stencil, and embossing paste, I partially added the paste and then sprinkled some glitter over it for some interest. I added some splatters using the Rangers Distress ink - velvet rose
Then I stamped, colored and fussy cut the flower. The leaves are heat embossed on vellum using white EP, and fussy cut to add to the card. The flower is colored with the velvet rose ink.
The sentiment is stamped on white and edged with a black and a glitter pinkish-maroon shade glitter paper.
The flowers and leaves are arranged on the embossed area I created using the paste.
A few jewels added and the front panel is edges with a silver glitter strip on the top and bottom before adding it to the card base.
I hope you like what I did here.

A stitched rainbow!

Hello blogger peeps, hope all are doing great. I have been away from my blog for quite a bit of time. I think there was a scheduled post in between.
I am back from Korea already, it's been a week, but I am not crafting and blogging yet. I managed to make a card 2 days back, and have some time on hand to post it now!

Ok since I was not motivated to sit down for crafting, I followed the same route I did in past, to sit down with some stitching...lol, but it works for me!!!
 Here is what I made.
I used my nestled circle dies from WeRMemory keepers, and drew the rainbow.
The added the stitches to the rainbow in coordinating colors.
Then used markers to fill in the color in between the stitches.

Then I used the cloud die from lawn fawn to emboss the clouds in the background on the rainbow panel. I used a sunburst stencil, and sponged the rays using Hero Arts - Sunshine Neon ink, I added wink of stella on the rays for some shine.
Used another strip of card and die cut it using the same cloud die, adn stamped the sentiment from Paper Smooches - summer lovin' set. The dragonflies are from Waffle Flower.

Hope you like this card. I managed 2 more cards, one will go up tomorrow as the DT project, and another one will post when I sit more leisurely with my computer!

Hope necklace and a recyled card

Hey all, hope you all are doing great. I am up with 2 cards, which I made yesterday, even though I have  a backlog of cards to be posted, I decided to post these 2 first.

The first one is a very quick and simple one, I received the hope die from CAS-ual Friday stamps, 2 days back. I wanted to use it a a pendant, so went with stitching.  I die cut the die using a heavy silver card stock.
I chose all whites as I wanted to keep it monochromatic. I chose a pink shaded embroidery thread to add the stitches. I doodled the string part. I decided to add the die in the stitch itself, to make it look like a pendant, and yes it hangs and moves just like a pendant. It is secured well with the stitch. A few silver jewels to finish off. Hope you like this simple card. OOPs almost forgot that I stamped the other part of the sentiment using worn lipstick, it gives a shaded look to match my thread.

Here is a look at my doodling.

The second card is a made by recycling some flowers from the chocolate box. These flowers were way too pretty for me to trash it. So I fussy cut the flowers, believe me just to cut a small section precisely took me more than half an hour. The previous card with sewing took me about 10 mins.
Anyways, once the flowers branch was cut. I used leaves from Altenew - vintage roses, and stamped in a dark green shade. Then I used ARTplorations bubble stencil to add yellow ink on the card. I also added some splatters using a green distress ink. The sentiment is from Altenew vintage roses set, and is heat embossed in silver on a black strip, I used foam adhesive to add. I used quite a few gold jewels to finish of the card, I am loving this one a lot, so glad I recycled the box.

Here is your first look at (Insert fav new set here I will have pictures above of our 6 new sets) 4"X6"
2. . You can help by *Biding!
Another way you can help us raise money for the Komen Foundation is to *bid on a project or card along the blog bounce(hop). YES! EVERY Single card/project along the blogs for boobies bounce is up for auction. We recommend a starting bid of $5 or more. Your *Bid not only includes the card or project but shipping to your home as well. Please Note IF you want to bid, and live outside the U.S. we would request that you pay the difference of shipping charges between where you live and what it would cost to ship within the US. * See how to place a bid for more detailed instructions.
If you are the highest bidder 7 days after the first post date 8:00 p.m. mountain time then you WIN the card/project that you bid on.
3. You can help by Telling Your Friends~
Help us spread the word about "blogs 4 boobies" the more people that know, the more money we can raise!!!

*"How to place a bid on my card/project"
Step #1
Find the comment section of the blog that shows the "Blogs 4 boobies" card or project that you want to buy. *Please note you may only bid on the card/project shown in the specific "blogs 4 boobies" post. *Any bids not placed on the correct post will be considered invalid.
Step #2
Once you are in the "blogs 4 boobies" comment section fill in the dollar and cents amount of what you are willing to pay for the card/project. We recommend a starting bid of $5 or more. Step #4
Watch and wait.

Once you have entered your bid/comment sit back and wait. If someone out bids you then you may bid again. Bidding will continue until 8:00 p.m. Mountain time 7 days after the first post.
* Please note that the participating stampers/bloggers will probably re-post their Blogs 4 Boobies card/project on the during the week of bidding in June. When the blogger re-post their project then the bidding will continue on the NEWEST post and that comment section.

Here is the amazing lineup of designers for day 4:

I have 2 cards up for auction, you can bid on as a set.

For my cards, I have used Skipping stones stamp provided by the blog hop sponsor, who is doing the fundraiser.
I have used the Dandelion wishes set here, the first card is pretty simple with just white base and front. I used some of the images from the set to create my design, and the sentiment is also from the same set. A monochromatic card, I am sure many of you like to send out monochromatic cards too for birthday ;)
