Hey all, hope you all are doing great. I am up with 2 cards, which I made yesterday, even though I have a backlog of cards to be posted, I decided to post these 2 first.
The first one is a very quick and simple one, I received the hope die from CAS-ual Friday stamps, 2 days back. I wanted to use it a a pendant, so went with stitching. I die cut the die using a heavy silver card stock.
I chose all whites as I wanted to keep it monochromatic. I chose a pink shaded embroidery thread to add the stitches. I doodled the string part. I decided to add the die in the stitch itself, to make it look like a pendant, and yes it hangs and moves just like a pendant. It is secured well with the stitch. A few silver jewels to finish off. Hope you like this simple card. OOPs almost forgot that I stamped the other part of the sentiment using worn lipstick, it gives a shaded look to match my thread.
Here is a look at my doodling.

--------------------------------------------
The second card is a made by recycling some flowers from the chocolate box. These flowers were way too pretty for me to trash it. So I fussy cut the flowers, believe me just to cut a small section precisely took me more than half an hour. The previous card with sewing took me about 10 mins.
Anyways, once the flowers branch was cut. I used leaves from Altenew - vintage roses, and stamped in a dark green shade. Then I used ARTplorations bubble stencil to add yellow ink on the card. I also added some splatters using a green distress ink. The sentiment is from Altenew vintage roses set, and is heat embossed in silver on a black strip, I used foam adhesive to add. I used quite a few gold jewels to finish of the card, I am loving this one a lot, so glad I recycled the box.
