Good morning blogger peeps, hope everyone had a relaxing weekend. Mine was busy until Saturday and Sunday was a lazy and crafty day.
I thought of sharing the news I was talking about in my last post, the ones who are connected with me on Facebook already know as of Saturday. On Saturday, I have signed a contract with a department store to sell my cards!!!! I have rented out a tiny space for a little money. My home is getting piled up with cards, and I cannot send each and every card I make. The previous house had quite a few customers, but since last one year in this new house, I don't know many people here ;)
It will definitely not be enough to make a living, as cards are not charged @rate of an arm or leg..lol
But I will feel less guilty when it comes to buy some supplies, and at the same time people can get some cards. I hope it manages to move some of my cards, it is a 6 month contract starting July to December.
Ok, now to the cards, I have at least 6 cards to share, but for now I am sharing 2 simple ones.
The first one is made using Uniko Studio - Cosmos, I absolutely love this set. I stamped in grey ink from Lawn Fawn, and used copics to color only one flower, the sentiment is also from Uniko but a different set, I stamped a part in pink and the rest in black. That is it, added the front to a white base no foam adhesive for this.

hoping that my one colored flower qualifies here as spotlight

The second one is also a floral card. I masked the base and then used pink, purple and kraft ink to sponge the panel. Used Tim Holtz woodgrain stencil to add some ink to the base, and then added a die cut flower and leaves from Sizzix. The sentiment is from Uniko and a few jewels to finish off.
