Hello all, happy Friday! A new month has began, cannot believe that one quarter of the year is gone already. March was a very good month for me, many of cards were winners at various challenges, which indeed makes me very happy :D
Our spring break has started today, kids will be off school for next 10 days, so I am presuming that my blogging will be bit on and off.
I have used a new stamp set here today, I got the HLS - whimsical set delivered last week, and was waiting to ink up, finally used it today.
I started with making the tag first,I used the same technique we use with fabric to create a patchwork!! The colors and the tag itself is inspired by the colourQ challenge. I first stamped the images in different inks, did some sponging as well, and then I fussy cut randomly. The I ran the trimmed edges in the calypso coral ink to get an outline. Then I glued all pieces back together and die cut the tag using the Avery Elle tag die. I added some stitches using a fine tip marker. Stamped the sentiment from HLS set. A few sequins to finish off the tag.
I chose a white base and used tumbled glass ink to stamp the bird from the HLS set, randomly all around the card, and placed the tag using foam adhesive, sideways, and stamped the sentiment under the tag.
I hope you all like it.
