A tag and a card

Hello all, I am posting bit late for my usual time. I usually don't blog on weekends. I went for a hike with my husband, and it took us 2 hours from the start to finish. I was huffing and puffing like anything ;) I haven't hiked in months, and this was a new trail for me. We moved to this new house in April, and have a really a big mountain for hike, but finally made it today, will leave some picture at the end of my post.
Once I got back home from the hike, needed some cooling off time, made this tag during that time.
I had recycled a commercial tag. I think it came with one of the suitcases, we purchased few months back, and I didn't trash it, thinking that I might use for it.
I started with first getting the print off, then used DI - smoky sky, and tumbled glass to ink it up. I used Heid Swapp's mixed media script stamp to stamp using broken china distress ink, I stamped some snowflakes in white pigment ink from Lawn fawn. The I stamped the bauble from Kaisercraft, in red and heat embossed it with clear powder, very difficult to see in the picture.
Then I stamped some stars and heat embossed in gold. Used a ribbon and a gold string to finish off. I am pretty bad at tags, or should I say I never do tags. Either case I am bad.

Tag you are it.

Now a card, this simple card was made 2 days back. It is a one layer card. I used kraft for this, and white pigment ink from lawn fawn. The stamps are from AltNew - Lacy scrolls. The sentiment is from clearly besotted. A few rhine stones to finish off.

Leaving with you some pictures from my hike today. We hiked all the up to the Ama temple, the statue is of Goddess Ama, Macau in Chinese is named after her  as Aomen.

Entrance of the temple, it is a very long and beautiful temple.

From the highest point, view of the beach and sea.

Circling around the trail, hubby decided to give a pose

It is the Henquin river/sea separating Macau where we live, and China.

Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate your kind  feedback :) Have a great day!
