Hi everyone, a quick share, need to run an errand. I don't know what is happening but nowadays life has suddenly become so busy, too many things to do. It is Monday, and there is as it is lot of work to to do, and my helper called in to say she was sick. Poor thing I hope she gets better soon, I did all the housework, and after lunch sat down for this quick card...made it and sharing it right away.
Dress Update : As you know, I was waiting for my daughter's dress, and it was picked up today, and it came out very pretty. It is a plain black formal dress, but it has been a while that I designed something for her, so really excited to see her in it...will post a picture, she has a mini performance in next few days, before the real big thing.
Ok now to my card. I used a left over butterfly die cut as my mask, and inked it using a magenta pigment ink, and festive berry distressed ink. Then used the snowflakes from 3 different companies Paper Smooches, Lawn Fawn, and Kaisercraft to heat emboss in silver around the butterfly. I also stamped some on the card front. The sentiment is from Kaisercraft.
I know butterflies and snowflakes together goes well for saying, but not for the card. But I wanted to make it anyway, a non traditional Christmas card. Used foam adhesive for the front panel, and kept everything white.
