Good morning everyone, I hope everyone is gearing up for the weekend soon!
The weather is playing games in our part of the world, woke up to a cold and gloomy morning,
but sharing 2 cheerful and bright cards on the contrast.
The first one up is made using a free digi from Inspired By Stamping, the moment I saw this image, it captivated me, and I know the design was calling for some embroidery ;) So the main focal image is the star here on this card!!
I chose a white base, and a white front too, after printing the image, I used markers to color it, and for the butterflies, I had added a wink of stella, I hope it is visible. I decided to add beads to the remaining part of the image, so chose to add beads in an alternating pattern, in two lines, I chose a green twine to stitch the pink beads. I think it matches up with the card really well.
I added a die cut, sentiment - this one was remaining from the last water-colored card, so sponged it with some more pink and green ink and added it, and stamped the "you". Finally added few pink rhine stones. I added a pink card stock to add a frame to the front, I am super duper happy with this card, and hope you all like it too!
A closer look at the beading work.

I had a great time using this image, and creating this card, thank you so much Joanna for providing this beautiful image. I am going with the hearts theme.
AAA Cards
I made a CAS card with the valentines theme.
Curtain Call
I am going with the love theme and few colors from this picture.
Fusion Card Challenge
I am using the hearts and the sketch as my inspiration here.
The Mixed Media Card Challenge
I have made this card using various techniques, such as sewing with beads, die cut, inking, markers.

The second card up is a one layer card, I had chose a white base, and printed this sentiment. it is a quote from Lina Shiny, but changed the first word "Be" to "You are". I used the memory box -shine stencil to add the sunburst , I had used red, orange and yellow inks in a blend. Super simple card.

I discarded so many ideas for the cue this week, finally settling in for the hottest thing in the universe - SUN. My card is in honor for all women, especially mom's, the sentiment chosen is directed for a wonderful woman, and I personally find it true.
Design defined - Use of minimal colors from the top, and fading it towards the focal point.
