Good Morning everyone, a new week has started, and a very important day for me. Today is my son's birthday, he is 14 today....time flies....I still remember the baby and toddler days!
Its become a family tradition to get a handmade card from me, for my kiddos. So I was thinking a lot as usual ;) since he is not a small kid anymore, so dropped a pop up card idea, wanted to do something simple looking, but again all 3 of us need to write in it. I thought of making a folded card, I sat down, and put together the card with the flow of my thoughts. This is very unusual for me, I always know what I am doing.
Chose Bazzil basics textured card stock for the base, and added a pale blue panels, all over. I had used blue ink to distress the edges. for the front I added an additional black card stock. The drum is a chipboard sticker. It came in handy, my son play drum, and I haven't given him a card with drums on yet. The birthday sentiment is from Avery Elle, and the for the name I chose Hero Arts - sketched letters.
The inside fold was plain, so I decided to add STAMPlorations subway art builders - Dare.
Sorry for the bad picture here, it wasn't easy to click this picture with all the folds.
