Sponged card

Woke up to a foggy and cloudy morning, and I sat down to make a card, all I knew was that I will make something bright. This is what I have come up with.
A single layered card, did quite a bit of sponging to create the background. I cut the cloud and flower stencil myself.
The middle layer is sponged with a golden shimmering ink, I have added a picture but need to really focus to look at it.
Added some purple glitter to the big bloom.
For the bottom most layer, I sponged lightly with a green ink, then added the die cut  leaves to sponge the leaves.
Used a tiny bloom, and a tiny butterfly as embellishments. Lastly, stamped the sentiment on the bottom layer.

The pigment inks I had used.

Managed a picture of the shimmer.

Posting this card to the Catchy Challenges

And for  STAMPlorations Blog yet again as one of my favorite techniques - Sponging.

CASE Study, My blog is just over 2 months, and this will be my first time entering for a DT spot,
I am CASing Valita's work here, it was this card of hers, which got me into sponging, and there is no looking back, I am addicted to sponging now.

Thank you for stopping by, have a great day!
