Colored and stitched leaves

Hello friends, I am up with a vey simple card today.

I wanted to do some stitching, so this card is what ai came up with.

I have used Altenew wallpapaer art set, and used only the leaves stamp her, I colored the leaves and then added  the stitches in green and grey, the colors are inspired by Altenew challenge colors.

Here is a look at the back of the stitched panel

I added a few score lines to the panel, and the sentiment is also from Altenew, but another set, edged with a silver glitter strip, the whole panel is added using foam adhesive.

One stencil 3 techniques - Uniko DT inspiration

Hello friends  I am up with some inspirations using Uniko Stamps and stencils.

I have used Stylized Florals stencil here for all the cards but with different techniques.

I have used Foil transfer, adding shimmer to transfer gel and used a glimmer paste here.

This card is made using Thermoweb transfer gel DUO with Gina K silver sequin foil.

I spread the gel evenly through the stencil and let it dry. It dries clear and tacky, then add the foil and run through the die cutting machine, or you can also apply pressure manually, the gel is tacky enough to get a good transfer. I have used a heart diecut here during the transfer.

I used distress ink Weathered wood with a light hand to ink the base card and added the foiled heart with a foam adhesive, the sentiment is from Always and forever set. I added a foiled strip att he bottom for interest

The second card is made using a translucent glimmer paste, I simply spread the paste evenly through the stencil, and once it was dry, I had die cut the heart and added with a foam adhesive to the base. The base card is inked using distress in worn lipstick with a very gentle hand. The sentiment is from the same set as above. A pink glitter strip is added for some interest.

                                .
The last card is made using the Thermoweb transfer gel with translucent glitter. I spread the gel evenly through the stencil, and then added the glitter and let it dry. Once it was dry, I die cut the heart and added to the base card, the base is inked with distress ink  Hickory smoke, and silver glitter strip to finish it off.

KIt and Clowder digi

 Happy weekend friends!

I am up with a simple share. I wanted to recolor the digi with pencils, which I colored in 2017 using Zigs.

Once coloring, I fussy cut the image and added to a base card using foam adhesives. The base card is scored with a few lines, a few jewels to finish it off.

Colored front and colored background

Hello friends, nowadays I am trying to convert my previous colorings to cards, I posted one yesterday, but it was not for any challenge, so just on Instagram. It was a beautiful illustrated and colored jasmine flowers.

Anyways, for todays card also this coloring was done way back in April and i converted to a card.
I have used the digital stamp from Power Poppy here, colored using Prismacolor pencils. I inked the Background using distress inks, and then used a stencil from ARTplorations to give more depth, and add interest.
The sentiment is from Altenew. I trimmed the front and was with this beautiful inked strip, so decided tp add that tot he card base and then I went looking for a suitable sentiment to fit on that, never worked backwards, but glad I found a suitable sentiment to fit on the strip!

Illustrated and colored Plumeria

Hello friends, hope everyone is doing well.
With the coloring challenge coming to end, so had my cardmaking spree for July has also come to an end!
But I am still coloring, actually I am illustrating and using the same pieces to color. If you have stopped by my instagram, you might notice I am stuck to illustrating and coloring Plumeria aka Frangipani aka Champa flowers nowadays.

This flower started right and has gone sooooooo wrong that you will see in the pictures, i will add that as well, and also how it was saved back to grace😂

So I illustrated this yesterday evening, and I finished the coloring in the night, and before going to bed I colored one rain /dew drop. The lighting was not good, so I decided to leave it as it is and came to work on it this morning.
As you can see in the picture, the colors looks different because of the artificial lights.

My usual routine is I sit with breakfast and a korean drama playing and if I have any coloring, that continues for a while till I have to get up and do the housework and cooking.
So I went overboard with the drops.

Then my darling daughter gave a feedback that the drops look more like bumps rather than drops🙈 She said adding some blue or green might give the drops the needed reflection, and of course I took the advice after all she is an art student, and a good one too!

So I tried adding blue and bit more black to the drops and ended up messing up like CRAZY and ended up hating it.

Now I wanted to save the piece more for the illustration than the coloring. I smudged off all the colors and redid the coloring, and I didn't give up on the drops either, but I added only a few....and the previous ones are still there in the background but very faint to be visible and disturbing the coloring.

So this was the story behind the coloring.
Lets see how I have assembles the card now!

Nothing much really, the flower was fussy cut, I added score lines to the base card, and added a foil line to the edge on one side, the foils is a silver sequin foil from Gina K foils... and added the flower using foam adhesive. The sentiment is from Altenew, I added a few jewels to finish it off.
I hope you like it!
